Alot of people are missing the point of what Sasuke was trying to do. Either that or they belittle what he does as it when it came to his decision to carry out his plan but made more apparent to him during his fight with Naruto. Sasuke was only doing what he thought was best for his self and how his hatred throttled him into wanting to turn the world into a darker place but unity in the process. Sasuke doesn't understand how strong unity can be once people learn to trust each other. After fighting with Naruto and Naruto still held his conviction it inspired Sasuke to change his ways.

Sasuke is not a chimp and surely this is a troll thread I'm not expecting any serious responses but try to understand where he's coming from at least. Sasuke represents the darkness that plauged the shinobi villages his role in the manga is irreplaceable.

1. Sasuke's idea was pretty similar to that of Lelouch from Code Geass, and whereas it is excentric I would not call it retarded by any means considering that we are talking about shonen manga here;
2. He wanted to try and change the system that would predictably and inevitably fail anyway (which it did, as we see in the sequel);
3. Naruto's plan was basically leaving everything as it was, and we have seen the consequences of this wonderful plan;
4. Trying to do something is better than doing nothing at all.

As i stated many times before... Theres a billion possibilities for sasuke. He can summon the gedo, rip the bijuu and sync with it, Immortality, He could seal the beasts in another dimension which would give him more time to prep the before the battle. And above all, Kawaki wouldn't exist as he watched every move from the shadows. He would do what Madara did, thirst for power to protect the village in its shadow.

1. Haven't watched Code Geass. He did the opposite of what Itachi wanted him to do. Not the smartest thing to do.
2. Change the system by becoming a villain himself? So he becomes next Madara/Obito, and nothing changes.
3. Naruto's plan was to unite all nations peacefully. And is that a filler consequence you're talking about? Consequence of Sasuke's plan would be Toneri destroying the Earth or Kinshiki and Momoshiki conquering the Earth, which are canon.
