Kimimaro v Hebi Sasuke

Sasuke executes him without much trouble.

Sasuke is faster, has better reflexes, pre-cog, and roflmao stomps Kimi's durability with ration flow. CS2 is matched with CS2 so it won't really give Kimi the edge here. Throw in Sasuke's greater range + genjutsu and he comfortably takes this.

Manda will be problem, also even if Kimimaro pushes Sasuke to limits, Hydra mode will comr out and ruin Kimi...

Kimimaro's Taijutsu Expertise coupled with his rapid-style Taijutsu is an effective counter for Sasuke's Taijutsu, so I wouldn't be confident in writing off Kimimaro in all honesty. Kimimaro possessed higher Taijutsu ability and could operate on a similar speed caliber according to the Databook even while he was severely ill. Just being healthy would bolster his capabilities.

Don't compare Kimmimaro speed to Hebi Sasuke. Rock lee stright from injury hand no problem keeping up and beating Kimmimaro ass. Chunnin exams Sasuke is just as fast as Rock lee confirmed by Rock lee himself. Don't even say Rock lee got faster because he didn't and he couldn't because of his injury Hebi Sasuke blitz.

The immense power-scaling that was present during the Time-Skip would apply to every character present during that time which included Kimimaro. However, I wouldn't even consider it power-scaling, I'd consider it a different artistic choice where the idea of Jonins and Kage Levels were visually depicted differently. If Kimimaro can subdue dozens of Jonins who are capable of amassing immense Doton Walls relatively quickly despite the effect battling a war has on any individual with normal stamina, then "power-scaling" applied to Kimimaro as well.

Except Kimmimaro didn't make it to timeskip so trying to apply timeskip feats to him you would just be spitting a big post of non-sense. He took on fodders that doesn't mean he can compete with Hebi Sasuke.

I don't think Kimmimaro has any defense against genjutsu.

oh and the speed/reflexive gap is to be considered as well.

No but he can defend against the attack that follow the genjutsu, especially with Bracken Dance which is what is going to make the most trouble for Sasuke in this matchup.

How can he defend against the attack that follows when he is still trapped in the genjutsu? Also raiton flow makes short work of Kimmimaro's bones.

Raiton Flow? Chidori Nagashi? The attack that left Deidara's clay standing, not to mention it's meant for paralyzing nerves its not doing anything to bone :lol

Sasuke's genjutsu doesn't make himself invisible hate that, it tricks the opponent into seeing ONE thing, such as him fading from Deidara's C4 his presence can still be known hence why he still had to attack Deidara from the back if Braken, not to mention Kimi's KKG probably could count as enough pain to break a genjutsu.

It doesn't, it was proof that Part 2 "power-scaling" obviously applied to him as well.

Kimimaro also was the only one who could stop Jugo's rampages and was depicted as the perfect individual for Orochimaru as a vessel, so he was clearly portrayed as Jugo's superior.
