what are you talking about? he was kicking base naruto's ass with pure taijutsu... & wouldve chidori'd him through the back of the head if he hadnt transformed into his little fox mode and run away like a wuss. Tossing himself into the ocean and what not

well of course how can u land a hit on someone who can predict your moves. same thing happened in the first fight it shouldn't be a shock at all. if you think of it no one in the series can stand against an uchiha in taijutsu unless they're taijutsu freaks like gai or lee or they in like sage mode or something.
Still couldn't "kill" base Naruto. He didn't fight him to kick his ass around he did it to kill him. Manga and anime proves that sasuke using EMS + RINNEGAN + SIX PATHS CHAKRA can't kill base Naruto. You know what that makes sasuke right? Pathetic.

He could have or should have don't count for shit. He tried he failed. Manga and anime proves that sasuke and whatever form of his can't kill base Naruto. Izanagi and lose an eye? As well as an arm?
