Black Lives Matter does contain a racist aspect to it. "Is the movement racist"? No, but to ignore the racist rhetoric BLM activist preach is foolish. Outside of the claims of the movement being racist, the movement in itself is counter productive. It has offered a very limited amount of ideas to the table in terms of solving the police brutality issue in the U.S., it's brought destruction and violence to cities and local businesses during their protests riots, and has created major splits in race relations in the U.S. The biggest accomplishment of the black lives matters movement is getting a BLM emoji on twitter.
