Since next week's episode will reveal the identity of Goku Black, it is time for everyone to post their final predictions as to who you personally think is this mysterious harbinger of death and destruction, that wants nothing more than the annihilation of humanity alongside his partner Zamasu.
Allow me to begin with my own personal prediction, which is simple yet is the only one I can believe under the circumstances of the episodes. Personally, I believe he is Future Goku that ultimately was met in contacts with Zamasu from that timeline and corrupted into his twisted ways of humanity's meddling being a nuisance to the universe. It was established very early on that he shares Goku's sense of pride, and love of battling, with even the latter making a note about it during their first encounter, it is this very trait that can only be shared with Goku himself throughout the entire cast of characters in this series. The most recent hint was in the preview for next week's episode, where it was said "Goku Black is not a copy?!", which would eliminate the possibility that he was a creation of the Super Dragon Balls. There is literally no other explanations as to who else he could be, since every other character is either dead or was destroyed with their explanations being highlighted throughout the episodes in the Future Arc.
I could be ultimately wrong, but that's the fun in all of this at the end of the day, to make our own assumptions and discuss it with others as to our own personal thoughts to the identity of this mysterious character.
