Arrives on top of a large Crow. Descending slowly I leap off and land next to you. The large summon responds to the name "Gekyo" upon being commanded to leave and immediately disperses.

nice bird lol. For starters I believe there are only 2 canon crow user being Itachi and that random leaf jonin guy who showed up during the Kakazu and Hidan vs Team asuma fight. Crows are malicious , carnivorous birds that can vary in size. Some folklore depicts Crows to be a sign of wisdom. These birds are black in color and can have a bluish, violent or greenish tint to their feathers. These birds can be summoned in a flock or As a single bird and they are most commonly for their link with genjutsu. I intened on using these birds in conjunction with sound genjutsu/ninjutsu since their unique cry can be used in multiple ways.
Raven, a rather short teenage girl, would stand before her teacher who was proposing a scroll towards her. A dreadful look was born on her face upon hearing her teachers words. Clad in her usual indigo cloak with her hood looming over her head, it would cast a ghastly shadow that would hide her facial expression from her instructor. She didn't hesitate to release her cold, pale hand,from the comfort of the confines of her dark cloak. As she's raising her right hand towards her mouth, she clinches it into a tight fist with her thumb poking out of it before comping down on her thumb with ther canine teeth. A small yet, substantial amount of blood would trickle down her wrist and then onto the paper of the scroll as she signed her name in big , bold , crimson letters. " RAVEN", would be the printed on the contract for all enernity, displaying her blood as concrete evidence of her loyalty and compassion toward sthe crow species. "What else do the crows need from me? Would they like to have my soul too?", the young Enochian said in a sarcastic tone.
Raven performs the appropriate seals before slamming her hand downwards onto the Earth's surface, causing a cloud of smoke to arise from the point of impact. As the smoke cleared, a standard sized raven would appear to be strutting around before taking flight and circling Raven. It then perches on her left shoulder then looks at you sideways.
Good job. Then let´s try something more advanced. Do the same summoning ritual, however use more chakra and summon a flock of Crows. You can use the swarm to surround, distract and even attack the opponent, although a large scaled technique would probably get rid of them.

Raven performs the same sequence of handseals as before, this time she swings her right hand with a single violent swoop, bringer her arm across her body ,releasing more chakra than before. As she does this , a larger cloud of smoke would appear infront of her before revealing a plehora of crows, spiralling and what not upon being casted. It would appear as if she launched a tornado composed of pure darkness.
question about the way i summoned... is that legal in our rp since Sasuke had been seen using his bird summoning whilst suspended in the air... or is that just when im falling.? the way i see it is that as long as there is some form of resistince force acting upon my summoning hand, it would work but i may be wrong
Yeah, nothing wrong with summoning them like that. In fact, i'm sure Itachi only did the seals part and they appeard around him, without even placing his hands anywhere. I believe that form of summoning is required for singular or more larger summonings.

Description: The user will summon a flock of small normal sized crows which can be used in a variety of ways. The user can use them to simply distract and slow down a target or use them to simply attack them with their beaks.
Perform, a small description of how you would use this in battle, and any advantages or disadvantages you can spot on this technique.
Raven performs the appropriate hanseals in rapid succesion before ending the sequence with a clap of her hands. From her cloak, a murder of approximately one hundred crows would swarm around her sensei and peck him, simutaneously limiting his vision to nothing but jet-black wall of crows in every direction.
" In battle , I'd use this technique in conjunction with the Bringer-of-Darkness genjutsu, release a large scale jutsu , summon a clone from the crows or near me, or simply speed blitz my opponent....all though the latter may not be the wisest of choices because the opponent would most likely use and omnidirectional "burst" type technique such as plasma ball or nagashi to disperse the crows..."

Now this technique, you already performed at the start with a smaller Crow. No need to summon it again, just posting it so you know you can use it. In this case however, the Crow is much larger, akin to Sasuke's Hawk in his fight against Danzo even.
(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Kuroi Karasu) - Summoning Technique: Black Crow

Description: The user will summon a large black crow that stands about as tall as two people with a wingspan of about 5 meters which can be used for various tasks in combat such as generally attacking the opponent or for maneuvering around on the battlefield. The crow itself is only capable of standard physical attacks using its claws, beak and wings.
Note: can only be summoned once

(Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu) - Crow Clone Technique

Description: A technique that produces a clone by projecting one's own chakra towards dozens of crows. These are summoned by the technique itself. Because it uses crows as a medium, it requires less chakra than the normal Shadow Clone Technique, while still being able to perform techniques (up to A-Rank). The dozens of crows come together to form the body of a clone. When the chakra projected by the user is severed, the crows disperse, though the user is still able to continue to speak through it.
Note: Can only be used by signers of the Crow contract and can only make 2 clones with each use.
We are all familiar with the Bunshin technique. Well this is a variation of it, by emitting your chakra into dozens of crows that you summon using this technique, they come together and form a copy of yourself. The good thing about this Bunshin is that it requires less chakra, something vital in NW activities, while being able to perform up to A rank techniques. Don't lose focus or get your chakra cut off as the clone will break apart into a swarm of wild crows and no more.
