I just now found out that Oda has apparently claimed that Akainu can find the One Piece. (Google it if you want)

So that means Oda thinks Akainu can defeat Kaido and take his Rio Ponygelyph?

He had problems with ill WB...can't see it happening against Kaido.

So that means Akainu is stronger? No. Akainu lost to an old half dead Emperor and Prime healthy Emperor>Old half dead Emperor. Plus Kaido has never lost a fair fight.

Or that he can fins the One Piece. As Robin said you don't need to take the poneglyph just copy it. Akainu has spies at his command to get that info and the strength to follow it through. Shanks and Buggy should also know where OP is and what it is so....

And on the topic of Kiado, he'll probably be beat by BM in a battle over Caesar because his intro says his skins unbreakable(basically, the wound may have been from before the times his intro discusses) so the only real way to beat him with what we've seen is BM's soul ability.

Being able to find One Piece the fastest doesnt equal to being above anyone. Akainu is definitely a top tier but the manga itself has given us during the introduction of Kaido that he is worlds number one currently, unless proven otherwise Kaido should be not only above just Akainu but above any living creature out there.

Now whether Akainu is second to him or whether he will be able to surpass him as time goes is a big question-mark and pure speculative at this point not to mention that Oda never discussed in that interview his power in comparison to any Yonko so idk where u came up with that.

Kaido got sent to prison plenty of times actually and I'm pretty sure he can get the same treatment, if half dead old wb is doing that to a to tier character then he by all means does the same for kaido who is also a top tier

plus it isn't really losing, he was up few minutes after taking little to no damage (Although he was out of the picture for a while lol), but even if you do consider it an l then nothing suggests that kaido can't get that treatment as well

U can find OP in different ways and u don't have to beat yonko fairly, u can steal it like luffy is trying to or u can form an alliance to take out an emperor. Power is not being indicated here. if we misinterpret the quote we might as well also say that aokiji can find it in a year since they are both virtually equal. And then we have to start saying statements like the two admirals are above shanks and Kaido, and Kaido was already called the strongest.
