That video mentions Ash and Pikachu have been together for 1 years, since it is the same day they met. Ash turned 10 on the same day he met Pikachu.

Let say an example if Ash met Pikachu on 1st June 2016, the next time it is the same day is 1st June 2017, which is 1 year. To make it even more easy I break it down more:

- Ash became 10 on the same day he met Pikachu.
- Ash celebrated his 1 year anniversary with Pikachu.
- It has been 1 year since Ash became 10 years old.
- Therefore Ash should be 11.

That means Ash should be 11 years old, while B&W the one I hated due to Iris being annoying calling Ash a kid and the narrator mentioning Ash is 10 which contradict the video I posted.

Lets not forget the huge reset they did with Ash knowledge and his Pikachu in Pokemon B&W, Ash did newbi mistake which a experienced trainer shouldn't do.

Everyone knows Ash has become a terrible protagonist. The idea of inconsistency, especially with his age, after the six series of pokemon we had so far isn't that surprising anymore.

But yeah, with this Kalos League fiasco, I've given up on him. l'll just be waiting for them to make a proper anime on this guy.

Don't you know few things never change in Pokemon

1.Ash starts his journey with Pikachu
2.In every new season time went back and ash became 10
3.Pikachu never evolve
4.Everytime a new chick join him on his journey and male Jim leader
5.Ash sets free atleast a Pokemon per season
6.Ash never wins the tournament

Pokemon B&W retconned the anniversary episode.

Ash officially should be 11 not 10 years old.

You should just view each generation as a separate series, yea there are aome ties but its pretty clearly separate in most aspects

series 1 is Kanto&Johto (the only 2 gens that really fit together)
Series 2 is Hoenn
Series 3 is Sinnoh (Hoenn and Sinnoh could maybe fit with Kanto and Johto but much less than Kanto fits to Johto)
Series 4 is Unova (Unova is a complete soft reboot and other than a marketing stunt with Dawn has pretty much nothing to do with the prev series)
Series 5 is Kalos (completely separate series, aside from Ash and Pikachu nothing ties it to the previous series except Ash once mentions he knew a Piplup as a reference to Dawn's Piplup)
Series 6 is Alola (Ash goes to school and his design changes drastically so its yet again a soft reboot)

Also

Kanto and Johto Ash is kinda meh and lame and the character that makes ppl today go "Red >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ash" and with Kanto has the worst league in the anime
Hoenn Ash is cocky and loses to a meowth in boots
Sinnoh Ash is badass and awesome and needs a reverse deus ex to lose te league
Unova Ash is complete sh!t and annoying
Kalos Ash is maybe the best (next to Sinnoh) BY FAAAAR, also hes badass who only loses because hes wearing his plot armor backwards ... He also would have beaten the champion if he hadnt fainted
Alola Ash looks derpy and weird and goes to school
