They are paid by taxpayers. That means my money is funding their paychecks.

If you hate your boss and think he's a ****, are you just going to say **** him or keep doing your job?

They are there to protect and serve everyone, regardless of if they like you or not. They are supposed to be professionals.

**** the police rhetoric helps no one. Thinking your boss is a **** doesn't change the fact that he's a ****. Generally people who say **** the police also want the law enforcement system removed from our country, I am not kidding you. My stance is that the law enforcement system needs reformation; pointing out the flaws and mistakes of police should be encouraged, but chanting "**** the police" "all cops are pigs" or being happy when a police officer is wrongfully killed doesn't help the situation, but makes it worse. I know you don't participate in these acts yourself, my original comment was targeting those who do.

@Bold I don't think I've heard anyone say that they want no law enforcement in this country. Pointing out flaws and mistakes of the police is exactly what people are doing. The protest of athletes not standing up for the national anthem is a protest exactly for that reason. Even the BLM movement, whom many on here hate or disagree with, have even said that they want law enforcement to change, such as having body cams on all officers and ending police use of military equipment.

Those are just two examples among many.

But after all of the genuine criticism and peaceful protests of police officers, it falls on deaf ears.

Every time an innocent is killed by police or anything related to racism, the police task force always has an internal investigation which never works because it is investigated by people they are familiar and friends with and are let go with a slap on the wrist. It rarely has a third party ever come in to investigate.

The only reason we are hearing about this now is because we have the internet and better forms of communication and transparency of information.

But police brutality, racial profiling, violation of constitutional rights, for-profit policing, etc. has been going on for decades. Yet nothing has changed and there are people that still refuse to believe that it is a real problem and simply dismiss this as a non-issue or play the blaming game.

So imagine if you were part of a group that experiences these things daily with no real change in foreseeable future, would you not get angry? When do people say enough is enough?

And the response from the police force to these just criticisms is telling people to stop complaining or they won't protect them. How is that right?

People get angry when their voices are silenced and left unheard. This is supposed to be a Democracy.

Before we go any further let me state I'm black myself, so I don't what this group experiences that I don't. And trust me, I didn't grow up in the best of conditions, I've seen the worst of the streets. And for some reason I didn't experience any negative encounters with the police, maybe it was my life style choices.

What you and BLM fail to realize is that when a police officer shoots an unarmed man, that it's not a race issue, but a police brutality issue. BLM fail to realize that the majority of police shootings that they protest for are justified shootings of criminals, or people caught in illegal acts. The instances where a black person actually experiences true police brutality, like Terrance Crutcher, BLM makes it a race based issue and groups these instances with the rest of the "victims". Then they'll riot in the streets like they did and Milwaukee because "peaceful protest falls on deaf ears", destroy their own community then turn around and blame white people. Rioting and causing damages to local business is not democracy, beating up white people because they are white is not democracy, harassing innocent bystanders just for existing is not democracy.

Since you said you haven't heard anyone say we shouldn't remove the police system, let me just provide that shit for you. And DO NOT ****ing try and turn around and say, these are not the people savages you were referring to. My god, I feel like ranting right now.

There have been literal accounts of racism within the police force. Such as an instance of a police captain grilling one of the officers for not arresting black people.

I could go on listing all of the shootings of unarmed black men, but there would be too many to list. One of them was literally laying on the ground telling the cops that he does not have a gun with his hands up and he still got shot.

Police treat black people differently when they see them and pull them over. They don't give them the benefit of the doubt and immediately put them under suspicion. It might not always be conscious racism but it certainly is subconscious racism.


I'm not gonna go into BLM all that much, but as I understand it, that's the not official position of BLM. There's always going to be people inciting violence and discord within an organization. It's like saying everyone in a political party holds the same values, which is not the case. BLM honestly is very disorganized. But "Campaign Zero" is the original policy proposal plan from BLM and they say nothing of the sort.

At the end of the day, the police in the U.S. are not doing their jobs properly. Police are supposed to serve and protect, and deescalate the situation, not escalate it to shooting someone. They are a military force rather than peacekeepers. People of all color are intimidated by them rather than feeling safe.

They are supposed to have training and methods of handling suspects without the use of their gun. The gun is supposed to be the last resort, but countless times we see that being the very first response.

Compare our police force to the UK or Australia and you'll see a substantial fundamental difference.

There is worst shit going around the world so calm it, also ur not changing anything in a country as big as america these things are just petty things not worth the governments attention, they are not going to make mass reforms anytime soon.

Most people who die during these police gunshots are mere pawns for the govt in general, so in times like this just try to stay out of any trouble so u dont end on the wrong side of things and all ur having is a little riot of not a grand scheme whatsoever and forgotten in week or so while the police/govt will continue at it like nothing happened.
