It wouldn't have aided him against Sound Genjutsu and White Rage. No, it requires the recording of the scenes to set up a loop. Itachi absolutely needed Sasuke.

I put Gai so high due to the fact that Evening elephant would pierce Perfect Susano'o.

Seemed to me like he could use the 8th gate for a bit longer (several attacks against Madara, being tired) and seeing how you can stay longer with lesser gates, I really don´t know the length.

Nevertheless, my point stands, Gai is weak to this style.

8th Gate? Yes. Why? It's basically the opening of all the chakra gates. That is not the case with low tier gates, where the chakra supply is limited and flow is hindered. Even there, he could only use two techs, and after that, he was done. I would say he lasted for about 3 minutes tops.

People think kakashi is above juubito forgetting juubito can negate kamui warping with his right eye, also i'm a big itachi fan but i don't think itachi can beat nagato due to nagato having hard counters for itachi's moves (i've learnt to accept that)
