Untapped Orochimaru VS Current Konoha

Got thinking about whether a future Orochimaru could defeat Konoha in the next generation when Naruto and Sasuke are too old to fight or long dead.

Whilst that was a cool matchup, it's impossible to argue because how strong Boruto and Sarada would be is complete speculation. So instead, a future, trained & honed Orochimaru strikes Chapter 700+ Konoha. Only restriction is... no Naruto and Sasuke.

Abilities: Orochimaru has access to Dragon Sage Mode, Manda II, 8 Tailed Serpent, the fodder Sound Nin army, Edo Tensei controls Hiruzen and Minato fully at full potential.

I'm actually just making it Konoha, Gaara, Kuro, Bee & Darui would defeat the Edos for sure. Too easily maybe.

Whilst Might Guy would be handicapped, I don't see how Kakashi would be? Whilst he might be a bit out of shape, he's still no older (and probably slightly younger) than Jiraiya was when he was facing Pein. You could argue the lack of MS is the handicap, but that eye was going blind anyway. And with his now large reserves, not having it means he's got more chakra to play with; opening up more possible strategies.

I don't see Oro being able to beat them simply because with his and Shikamaru's minds coordinating such a versatile set of powers, there must be a 101 potential ways to lock him down.

He's definitely weaker than the Itachi fight, not to mention gentler but even without Edo Tensei....Kabuto is still probably the strongest individual Konoha has in this scenario at least. Add 100 Mangekyous into the equation too but Orochimaru with all these buffs is undebatably stronger than my favourite.

How is Kabuto weaker now? He didn't loose anything after the war. He just changed sides. He still has the DNA of Sound 5, his Edo tensei were greater than Orochimaru's and he achieved Sage Mode which is something he still has that Orochimaru could not achieve. I don't think he is weaker, he just isn't evil anymore.

But then...we don't know if Orochimaru has actually finally achieved Sage Mode, it's been some +10 years and we know Mitzuki got it. Oro may have attained it as well by now. And if he has, then no one in Kanoha is safe for sure.

That's a good point. Age doesn't seem to be too much of a factor in this world, gotta say guy just looks tired though. Definitely out of shape and hasn't been travelling/toning his skills like Jiraiya had, I feel like he would've been brought to fight Momoshiki otherwise or done something during The Last & Boruto the movie but he's well and truly retired and out of the action i'd say.

By handicapped I actually meant 'without his sharingan' but that's technically not a disability. I'm just happy Might Guy is a confirmed still-capable fighter. Kakashi is likely to be on strategy and agreed, Shikamaru and Kabuto are the two most valuable ninja in my opinion. Shikamaru has ALL of his toys.

He hasn't fought in over a decade, morally will not use his forbidden jutsu and is gentler in nature. He's still insanely powerful and one of the strongest that Konoha has but even just losing Edo Tensei and Manda II naturally makes him weaker.

Well good point, but Kabuto probably know Oro better than anyone aside Tsunade and Sasuke...the old memories could bring the darker Kabuto out. But your point is a very valid one nonetheless.

Damn that's right! They still have Tsunade also! Man, maybe Konoha isn't as vulnerable as I thought. Still, they have little to combat Minato, Hiruzen and Manda II other than sheer force.

Hypothetical future Orochimaru who has had say 100 years to practise. I'd say it's fair to give him at the very least full control of the weaker 2 Edo Hokage, a similar modded version of Manda II and DSM. I mean Kabuto achieved all this in what? A month or two? As well as crafting and collecting info, clothes, coffins and DNA for a gigantic Edo Army and body modding himself.

Give Oro literally a year and see what happens.
