it's a large base.. chances that you messaged people that are quite terse is high..

Plus I think most people don't stay here for long.. me for example I come to NDS, checks the days threads read the ones that are interesting then I get out..

Also the notification systems messes up sometimes, you get quoted or receive a message and yet you get no notifications...

I'm not justifying those actions but I'm just giving plausible reasons to account for all that.. some people are more affable than others.. it's just normal

It's just not a very sociable or nice website to be perfectly honest.

Everyone's more concerned with trolling, Sasuke roleplaying or shouting their opinions to have discussions sometimes.

Sometimes it feels lonely... :shy:
You don't have a presence on NB, that's why you get ignored. Keep in mind that many members still come here (There are 150 members online continuously on NB at it's peak of activity daily) and it's not easy for people to know everyone. The best way to stand out would be through communication skills and that means chatting in the Chatroom Corner with others, Using VM's to talk with other people or take a certain topic and make threads on that (General Chat, politics, etc).

In the initial stages, you will have to take the initiative by starting conversations with others. Once your Friends increase to a high point, you will see that people would come and talk to you even when you yourself are staying low.

Best example for this would be me. When I joined in 2014, nobody paid much attention to me. But I followed the three steps. I chatted with a lot of people in both the Premium Chat and Chatroom Corner, talked with many people through VM and made my presence by making Naruto Theories. Right now, I am not that active, but I have a solid 20 Friends which means that I still get VM's from my friends even though I do not talk with them any more because of my lack of activity.

Also if you fell alone, you can always leave a message on my profile. :pkun:

You joined 2012, you should have tons of friends. 2012 and older members seem to have tons of freinds.

OT: I'm open for conversations (but I don't come online that often anymore, but I'll defo respond when I come online), and I met most of my friends in the FG section, people are generally nicer over there.
Joined in 2012 - That's four years. Namar's post count, number of Profile visits and VM's number count tells me that he has not been active for a long period of time. He has only started being active in 2016. He has not changed his Username (Cause he has no username history) and I have only seen the username Namar from 2016 onwards (I joined in 2014).

If you just join and do not stay active or make an effort to communicate, your friends will never increase. The number of "true" friends does not depend on when you join a site but on your communication skills.
