The genjutsu is more obvious, but the manga had Sasuke looking like a savage! Stabbing Sakura, Sasuke turning away from Sakura, and the faces he made at Naruto were better in the manga imo. Same with the mood swings Sasuke had.

Did you notice how Sasuke's family flashback had really good artwork but then his rinne-genjutsu was crap?

That irked the mess out of me! How did they get the coloring and lighting right on that, but then mess up his rinne genjutsu? Even stabbing Sakura looked, meh!

I dunno how they do it either. They know that we want to see the epic moments from the manga done well but instead the give their best to the slowest, most boring scenes. It drives me crazy.

lol! Someone went zero to savage really quick! It had a few good moments, but god, they handled a few scenes really bad.

Watch the filler they do between Naruto vs Sasuke be movie level production.

Lol I was waiting and ready to do a screen capture of the scene where Sasuke impales Sakura but then when I saw how crappy it looked I just left it alone. That goes to show how bad the anime ruins some of the best manga scenes. Bad art makes the moment totally less impactful and forgettable.

If no other scene deserved top quality work, it was that scene! I didn't mean that, because a lot of people hate her, but that was such a huge moment in the manga. It was a turning point for Sasuke's character.

i agree. the rinnegan genjutsu scene annoyed me. didnt look as epic as it was in the manga. i did like the flashback of his family tho. helped in adding some depth to the whole scene
