Did naruto do anything with that kunai?

Just this, when he's approaching jj mads(before he activates his new cloak) he has a ftg kunai in his mouth, it's also in a lot of pics of him with it as well... So my question is... What the hell was the point? He didn't do a single thing with it and it was gone the moment the fight starts iirc, does anybody know?

We all know FTG would have meant Madara killing him. Since Sasuke's ameno is faster and more versatile in cqc.

Apparently that mode gives him comprehension of all things so he somehow knew tobirama was gonna use it to teleport sasuke.

Ameno is faster and more versatile, but sasuke wasn't too experienced with it it yet, I'd say at that point(if just) ftg was slightly better. I still find it weird kishi made a point for him to have it, but do absolutely nothing at all with it

a point can be made that for bijuu mode characters ftg is better then amenoo because no cool down and anything his chakra is connected to he can teleport or move to so he can literally walk around the battlefield as kurama avatar placing seals anywhere

He had it because he knew Sasuke was near the 2nd hokage an naruto knew that the 2nd could use FTG to send sasuke there. But once sasuke was there, no idea why he kept it in his mouth. Maybe hoping his dad would show up to help?

Isn't that kunai the reason sasuke was able to be teleported to Naruto after sasuke was revived

That kunai was the basis for him learning Ftg ..he never used ITN last fight ..tobirama or Sasuke never knew he had it...they sensed sage power and teleported...other than that it was a token to him..like kakashi having it..

Hmm how sure are you? Cause I remember Minato ftg'ing the tbb in the flash back, but I don't recall anyone teleporting someone else without going with them? Even when tobirama teleports naruto to hit juubito he goes with him(although he might of done that to put some extra force behind him) I'm not trying to argue or anything I just wanted to know for sure

It's also important that he wields his father's kunai as a symbolic motif. He is taking on his father's legacy and shows his intent to become hokage and save the world or become the savior that had been mentioned earlier in the manga.
