Thats not true, I think you have a shot if you choose 2 top teirs.

I would choose Shanks and Dragon.

The only threat at that point is Whitebeard..
Im confident Dragon could take out the shichibuki (Mihawk/Doffy/Kuma/Ect) by himself with Mid Diff.

Blackbeard and Shanks or Dragon is the best team you can make IN MY OPINION...

Just hard to say for sure because although they're both considered top tier characters, we barely know a damn thing about either of their fighting styles/abilities.

I want one DF user and one non DF user just to be balanced and safe for any situation.

My non DF user would be Shanks because of his beastly haki, haki is good for any situation so why not be with the best haki user from this list.

My DF user would be Akainu because he is a relentless bastard, once he is set on doing something he won't stop.

Pretty straight forward stuff tbh, maybe I should mix it up and add some range and hax in there, but **** it. Actually on second thought I'd like to have Kuma there because its guaranteed the two aren't gonna be able to protect me from all those other guys, so Kuma can just send me tf off the island.
