No his eyes aren't blank , the manga doesn't have color , so it could be a sharingan red . The sharingan is drawn in white in the manga . So yeah the anime proved its sharingan

That's an interesting theory and I can kinda see where you're coming from.

Sasuke broke the rule though by solo'ing Naruto throughout the series with his only non-win being a tie at the end so idk.
