Will be hillarious if Madara got caught by IT while trapping inside of Ino body and Ino got stuck to Madara body since Madara cant get back to his body since his mind is trapped inside IT
The infinite tsukuyomi light lasts a lot longer than a split second though. Also, mind body transfer doesn't actually make the caster and the victim switch bodies. It just renders Ino's body unconscious while Ino controls her victim's body (unless the victim powers out of it like Sakura or Obito did). Therefore, Madara would not get caught by the genjutsu. Finally, as I said in your other thread about Ino countering the jutsu, even in her unconscious state, her body would probably still get caught and wrapped up by the shinju.

well if u are refering to the mother and the daughter was laying on bed and get caught by IT, it could be that they are waking up in their bed as little girl is grabing the blanket...
but also mindless =/= no genjutsu - an absolute rule of Naruto

The body is not mindless though. Genjutsu manipulates the chakara around a victim's brain (not their spirits). An unconscious body still has a brain, it still has chakara, and it is still a living entity (this all still holds true for Ino's unconscious body). Therefore, it would still get caught by the infinite tsukuyomi. Also, it doesn't matter whether or not the mother and child were waking up. Even in real life, normal light still penetrates closed eyelids. The light of the infinite tsukuyomi then, would most definitely penetrate closed eyelids (so it wouldn't matter if someone was asleep or awake). Also, think about this logic:
The infinite tsukuyomi captured everyone in the world except for team 7, Obito, Black Zetsu, and the undead. If it captured everyone on Earth, there had to be someone on the planet who was sleeping. Remember, it was night time when Madara casted the genjutsu. Not to mention the fact that hospitals will always have some unconscious person. Considering that everyone got captured (which would include these unconscious people) proves that you don't need to be awake in order to get caught.

you are just digging too much into this when the smaller version of tsukyomi requires eyes contract, this IT is just planet AOE version. So the person who got caught are most likely when they have opened their eyes and having their brain activate. You cant really apply real life smallest detail for NV logic since then there will be ton of unexplained thing....
Everybody was shocking and doesnt know what is going on, so it was understandable that they are trying to find out what is going on and then get caught by IT.
Anyway this thread and other thread is just for fun theory and posibilities of who can counter IT if they role are suddently needed to fight Kaguya...

By the way, where did even get this from :

Seems to me like the you are the one digging too much into it. Infinite Tsukuyomi is supposed to trap the whole planet in the Genjutsu, which it did. We were shown sleeping people getting trapped (normal citizens), unconscious and half dead people getting trapped (Might Guy), unaware people in their homes getting trapped (feudal lord), people who claim to be immune to eye contact based Genjutsu getting trapped (Kabuto) and oblivious pets getting trapped (cats) etc Then we were given an explanation stating how anything touched by the light will fall under Genjutsu and how the light cannot be blocked because it will penetrate even the shadows.
Why you would ignore the explanation and what is shown try to place some non-existent limitation over it is beyond me.
By the way where did you get this from ?

Last I checked, sasuke didn't have any trouble putting Orochimaru under Genjutsu when he was just a consciousness trying to take over his body.
