Appearance: Masaki appears as a tall and foreboding man, standing at 187cm tall with a muscular build. he has short, pitch-black hair and brown eyes, compliemented with tanned skin. Evidently, the man is the type who has always been blessed with a larger build and good bone structure, which his body reflects. It's also quite evident that while seemingly rough around the edges, he's quite soft.
The appearance of his clothing hasn't changed much over the years he's been inaugurated as a shinobi. During free time moments when he's not particularly busy or on a mission, Masaki can be found wearing your typical white t-shirt with black shinobi grade pants. If on a mission or outing, he throws on an old chunin jacket, with wear and tear all over it, in a slightly greyish colour, signifying how old and tattered it is.
Personality: "Honesty is a virtue" is the best way to describe Masaki. Truthful and sincere, almost to a fault; it's not too difficult for the boy to at least become friendly with other people. He was always seen as kind and speaks with a lighthearted tone, even if his appearance did somewhat appear to be initimidating. Masaki also seems to be a man who respects authority, believing that one should treat others how they'd like to be treated, and respects people in higher positions, as well as those who are tentatively of lower social standing than he is.
One thing that does stand out about Masaki that other people like him didn't have is his strong sense of morality. There wasn't really a code or anything that he lived by, but moreso what he thought was right and wrong and decided to live by those thoughts. The intent to kill was always strong, and sometimes needed as someone who had chosen this career, but Masaki wasn't one to break his moral code. Despite this, he understands the reality of his life, and knows that sometimes he must break his morals in order to live, at the very worst.

Masaki hailed from Sunagakure, and naturally like most people who hail from there are exceptional in Wind related techniques. Although it has taken him a few years to accomplish, he has finally learnt how to master the aforemented element and techniques associated with them, and thus can perform all Wind techniques with the primary hand seal.
His chosen art of fighting is Puppetry, which uses puppets in order to fight for him. While it's not necessarily something he enjoys doing, Masaki can fight proficiently with them if the need arises. Even so, he carries several scrolls on his body sealing away the majority of the puppets he uses, as well as physically carrying one of his favourites: Salamander, on his back at all times when travelling.

Description: Salamander is a defensive puppet, though not on the level of defense as that of Hiruko. Salamander, as its name suggests, is built in the form of a large salamander, being one of the largest puppets seen thus far, and though it is not more powerful defensively than Hiruko, it is larger than the other puppet. Salamander is able to rise up a large area on its back to be used as a shield, making a black shield over its head. It, like some other puppets, is hollow, and it can open its back at any time and then rise up its large tail over its head, stretching it out and therefore allowing the puppet user to jump inside of it for protection. Salamander can also spew out fire equal to C rank. Salamander can only be destroyed by one who knows its weak spots, being a weak joint on its side that holds the shield in place and afterwards simply striking it on its back, or by a move of A rank or higher.

Masaki lived with his parents in Sunagakure, and while not affluent to the level of those of the daimyo or princesses in bordering countries, the Nagakura family was known. Their pride, honor, and charitable nature helped them stand above the "common people" of the Sand Village. What wasn't known was the dark, hidden underbelly which helped the clan strive for the top of the social status ranking.
Being forced to kill from a young age, Masaki's life was seen as disgusting in his eyes. The young boy looked bright and earnest in front of his peers, but within the privacy of his own home was a completely different land. Beatings, torture, you name it: the Nagakura clan was likely to have some kind of involvement in it. The young scion didn't want anything to do with it: the repugnant life his parents so fared, and brought him up upon. Almost like a yakuza family, but nothing quite civil as that.
It was some time, he discovered the art of puppetry in an old book. Masaki's fascination stemmed from it's intent, that being the purpose to entertain. Perhaps it was a gateway out of this hellish life he so feared of being stuck in.
Years past, and as a full-fledged shinobi and puppeteer, the boy; now man was able to leave his village on a life journey. He would never be capable of washing away the stains of his blood that he would have left on his hands. The Nagakura family being a part of that, it was something he wished he'd never taken any part of. The Rain village is where he strung himself along to next, hoping perhaps what the town was most famous for would help wash away his sins, and help him repent.
Two years passed in the blink of an eye, and Amegakure would have no more need for a washed up puppeteer. Perhaps, leaving would help Masaki find his own way, and what it means to be a person. Maybe he could forget his past and start anew. His journey was finally to begin here...
