Orcarina of time was a good game but it didn't revolutionize shit. Hell, Sonic revolutionized the game industry too,. then proceeded to push out shit, just like the Zelda franchise did. Out of all of their games only 2 are worth mentioning.

You can do a lot with a little. This fight was bad, but not because of nerfed characteers, it's because kishi had a deadline and he's also a fucking idiot.

You can only throw so many nukes and spam instant-kill attacks before it becomes redundant as it's not going to actually kill anyone. (See Ameno, Amaterasu, TSB, Speed-Blitz, Bijuu Bombs, Kamui, FTG, Genjutsu)

For example. The deadlier the attack, the less of a chance it has to kill them or the less of a chance they will use it. Why? Because it's not interesting to see one-shots unless it's on fodder or to show the power of a character.

1. Megaman Legends, OOT just made it better.
2. The one from your denofgeek article is so full of holes that it would actually require me to sit down and shoot down a majority of them.
3. The legend of zelda has good games, but innovation isn't in their creativity in game mechanics. They took what was out there and made it better. That doesn't make it groundbreaking if the ground was already giving in.

But as of late their games have been repetitive and awful, story-telling wise and gameplay-wise. They try new things, but Zelda is no mario, they can't afford to make him do stupid shit like teach you how to type or golf (which is why hyrule warriors shouldn't exist).

They're trying a new thing with this Zelda and I hope for nintendo's sake that they don't fuck it up. Which they most likely will fuck it up because it's on a fucking Wii U.

Kishi was determined for them to end it with that clash and them losing their arms. Vote 2 was a major letdown. I'm not saying the nerf was okay nor was bad. That's not the reason the final fight was bad imo. It was just poor execution all around.
