I really don't understand why people think momo>kaguya

They do? I thought people mostly thought kaguya is stronger by default.

They say that because Kaguya went to the effort of building a Zetsu army out of fear. Based on the fact that Momo and Kin got solo'd like they did, it tells us one of three things:

1) Kaguya didn't have a clear idea of how strong (weak) they were.

or

2) She underestimated her own strength by a large margin.

or

3) She only knew they were Otsutsuki, and that they are normally much more powerful than her.

4) there's actually more chakra thieves besides the shikis.

He probably got his hands on a shinju tree before she did an was planning on taking over the Otsutsuki clan.. She was some kind of a leader who was probably going to lose that title cause he got his hands on a shinju tree that she was probably suppose to use for herself an the clan..
Once she got the shinju tree of earth she became strong or stronger than he was..

We've seen her ability to slip through dimensions with ease while Momo didn't show much but absorbing chakra with little to no taijutsu skills like her..

In a one on one I don't think he could beat her with the power she displayed compared to his.. He needs her to throw her chakra away which is something we don't see her do meaninglessly plus she has the Rinne-sharingan which he lacks..

Do people still believe this? That was a mistranslation that no one knows that came from. He and kin obviously wanted to steal kaguya's chakra. I don't recall her wanting to grow another fruit either.

Kaguya is the God of all chakra BUT she did admit that she is afraid of Momoshiki and his power. Momoshiki's feats are pretty much op if you actually think about it. Being able to absorb and throw back any technique and to be able to turn someone into a chakra fruit ? Dont see how anyone is matching that on a 1 v 1 . none of his oppenents can use ninjutsu on his so how are you going to beat him ?

Uh, taijutsu? That's why he resorted to using ninjutsu when he got overwhelmed by naruto and sasuke.
