If boruto can use wind, lightning, and water, why did he use the Kote in the second round of the chunin exams? He supposedly can perform those techniques by himself so I don't understand it, I don't really care about the cheating or not winning is winning for most things in life but it made him look so crappy

That was my answer sorry, on his wiki page it says he used purpe electricity, a water jutsu i forgot the name and a wind jutsu the same one nagato used as a kid

He used flying rasengan which mean in his vein contain some kind of nature chakra, probably mutated from his dad.

He's limit on Shadow Clone was about 3.. With the Kote he could amplify it..

yeah so he used the Kote for more power.. He could have won without it imho but they had to emphasize he being lazy

He has access to those elements meaning he has their basics down, but that doesn't speak for jutsu.

Kinda like Base Naruto minus the Rasenshuriken.
