I think react channels just ruin Youtube.

You're not making original content, you're just filming yourself watching somebody else's.

It's so abysmally lazy.

And to think the only reason react channels exist is because somebody filmed their friend watching the trailer for Two Girls One Cup.

It's simple phishing and has always been a problem on Youtube. It's scummy and increased by the fact that none of these people actually do anything.

Sometimes they actually just sit there and eat. These accounts should be taken down and the Youtube code should be fixed to stop being abused.

These days everyone with a cam is doing a reaction video of some sort it seems.. Some don't even have an idea what they are seeing...e.g.

A bunch of Americans reacted to an Indian movie Veerappan- no subtitle nor they knew who he was.. Nor they knew anything about Ivory or the illegal trade of elephant tusks etc.

There was a girl sitting beside the main reactor who was not even interested just sitting there to add a girl to the set and get some followers for herself at Twitter... :|

Their attempt to comment on what they saw was just -_-

And yet they seem to be multiplying these days... And yep usually it's just stealing content. Only a handful of the make an attempt to use google to find out a little bit to add to the trailer.

me too. I guess it's useful if they put the video in some box and that would be the only wai I can watch said video. Other than that don't care for them. Most of the time, I don't care. Most of the things I react to I do it normally and without a shitload of emotions. Most people are the same, so why would I want to watch a video of some guy doing that.

They exist because there's a large audience for it. Some channels react and do nothing else, but some react and then review/say their opinion on the subject. Clearly a lot of people are interested to hear what someone else thinks of this particular thing.

It has lots of views because it abuses the Youtube code. Many hours watched with no effort available every week means more recommendations than those suckers who have to edit and put time in xo
