Of course everyone cares about their family , but do you think they are nice people? Do you like to hang out with your parents and siblings, go in family gathering and have conversations?

I realised i can't stand my parents, and my extend family is hedonistic, too much focused in money, with some weird values. The only ones i really enjoy to hang out are my sibilings.

Interesting idea for a thread. That's very relieving lately, thank you.

Hm. I love my close family.
My mom is the best mom I could imagine, she works a lot, but still does everything for my sister and me. It's almost too much, since she doesn't really take care of herself. Her partner is alright. He doesn't try to become our "new dad" or so, he's a good friend.
My sister. Well, that's a bit complicated, but that's the case for most relationships between siblings, right? We neither can live together in true peace, nor can we live without each other at all. We periodically struggle and can get mad at each other for a few days, but the negativity never lasts and is never "deep".

My extended family is another chapter. My father's relatives are basically dead to me. I do not care about them at all anymore, too much happened in the past. I won't speak with them ever again, nor will I visit their graves.
My mother's side of extended family is quite the opposite. One of my many aunts likes to be annoying because she always tries to influence me with her "wisdom", but besides that, they are all great people. I love and truly care about them, even though I do not show that a lot. They accept me the way I am, what else could I wish for?

They are definitely flawed, but who isn't? I only see my parents a few times a year, but I regularly talk to them. If I am around them for more than a week I have to leave. My spouse and dogs are great. The rest of my family is either deceased or I have extremely limited contact.

Family!!! Well, I don't know. They're just like this money dispenser, and I love them for that. Apart from that, they're supper meddling annoying lot, and you've just got to hate them for that too.

* Mom: There is nothing I love more than her in the world, HOWEVER she is a failure bigot Christian Bishop who blames all mistakes to the devil instead of facing reality. She is the most bias thing I've ever seen. Part of me blames my old brother's death on her.
I can't help though because she is one of the strongest things I've ever seen, a beast who raised kids as a single parent.

* Little brother: I won't lie, I almost have no love for this thing. I try to lie to myself that he is my little bro and I love him BUT no every time I see him I just fume. Mom ruined this idiot, she spoilt it to the core, a drug addict that does nothing but finish whatever groceries I buy and still doesn't clean or do chores in my house :|

* Dad: Don't know what to feel about him, nIgga shot himself on the head while I was 3 years old, mom escaped with me and little bro before she was killed along. I am not entirely sure what was going on his mind so I can't really judge him.

*Extended family: Simply pretending to like one another

I only truly love 1 cousin and she was the one who funded my promo 6 years ago
