huh. what I thought is rikudou chakra(sixpath chakra) can be granted with ashura/indra or becoming a juubi jink. and that those who have rikudou chakra possessed yin-yang chakra. however, with naruto and sasuke. the sage granted both of them yin-yang release still, however he divided the power equally between them. (naruto yang power)(sasuke yin power) but they both still possess yin-yang release. more or less a yin power can still contain the chakra of yin-yang
regardless, whether i'm right or wrong. does nagato have the rikudou chakra or not? lol. surely that is the important factor that keeps him inferior to other rinnegan users like madara and sasuke. (not including uchiha abilities)
Rikudo Chakra is gained when you get chakra from Hagoromo or Ashura and Indra's chakras merging together. The Juubi gives you that and Six Paths Sage Chakra, which is most likely where the JJs, Toneri and Naruto got their Yin-Yang Release from. Having Rikudo chakra doesn't give you Yin-Yang, having Rikudo Senjutsu gives you Yin-Yang. Hagoromo didn't give Naruto and Sasuke Yin-Yang Release. He gave Naruto Six Paths Senjutsu along with the Yang Seal and gave Sasuke the Rinnegan and the Yin Seal. (they also both got half his chakra)
-Yin Power is the seal, not Yin Release. Rinnegan grants Sasuke all the Nature Transformations. So he has Yin and Yang, but not Yin-Yang.
-Yang Power is the seal, but Naruto has yin-yang because he has Hagoromo's Senjutsu.
Rinnegan possesses some powerful chakra, which Nagato would benefit from, but he doesn't possess the kind of chakra Madara and Sasuke got which awakened their eyes so the answer to your question would be no and like you said, that's why Madara and Sasuke's Rinnegan abilities>>>>>Nagato's.
