Sakura canonically needed to be saved. Nothing to argue here. If you dont have a defense to block Shin's weapons or the speed and/or power to one shot him in a matter of seconds you'll most likely lose.
Weapons pin her when they hit and then Shin ends her. Byakugo changes nothing.

Yes she did...but perspective wise, it doesn't look that impressive a feat as she had lots of time to react.

The dots in the first panel below the juubi are Naruto's and Sasuke who were flying meaning at that height Sakura would be like a speck? Either way, the Juubi hand is very large and we clearly see though it's still away from the Naruto's and Sasuke, its surface area covers at the very least 6 of the Naruto's and Sasuke's depending on how you look at the right middle panel above.

Sakura compared to that Juubi hand looks like she's covering over 90% of the surface area of the Juubi hand. That would only be possible if the hand was very far out cause you know..the farther away something is, the smaller it seems.
I'm not downplaying the feat but it's not as impressive as people make it seem tbh.
OT: I think Sakura could defeat him if he didn't have his clones. He did use his clones to fight her too right?
Sannin Tier and such. He has his S/T Ninjutsu so he can teleport wherever he pleases, his MS jutsu isn't going to be countered unless you have auto defense or can obliterate him in a matter of seconds or minutes like I said before, and he took Sakura's punch and lived, and he had the upper hand against her in their battle and she's Sannin Tier post Byakugo as she's near or on par with Tsunade.

Thats sounds about right , also where would u rank War Arc Sakura's skill in martial arts?? i'd say about mid chunin level in prowess , lower than the Sound4 who i rank as high chunin in taijutsu with the exception of Tayuya and Kidomaru bein lower than War Sakura , but she was trained by tsunade so maybe her skill is higher but ntn to really support that.

DB puts her at 3 in Taijutsu at the beginning of Shippuden. That's already higher than all of the Sound 4 bar Jirobo let alone at the end of the Manga and in the epilogue.

Kidomaru and Tayuya don't necessarily need taijutsu though as their abilities are similar with Gaara's. The others were Kimi, Sakon/Ukon and Jirobo and the lowest of the 3 in taijutsu was Sakon/ukon with a stat of 3.
Completely restrains her movements with his blades , then proceeds to finish her easily taking her head/limbs off , He has all the time in the world once she is restricted. Sasuke literally had to remove two blades from her arm then destroy them with amaterasu , clearly shin was portrayed above her by kishi.
