I'd given up long ago on Kubo explaining anything about the Soul King or other important information we all were asking for. But I was still surprised that he couldn't even be bothered to tell us if an important character such as Urahara were alive or dead in the end. Urahara contributed so much to the story and was a key figure in almost every important moment in the series. But Kubo forgot to show us anything of the character in the end. Even if he is dead not showing a glimpse of at least a grave or something is just unacceptable. I mean the dude outsmarted the King Troll Aizen for god sake and was extremely strong. I really hope we get a data book, an anime that Kubo does right like they did with YUYU, or even Kubo himself just letting us know in an interview what happend.
Unlike most Urahara was the reason I got into bleach. And even though he wasn't in the series all the time it was the moments he appeared that really made the series great for me. It just sucks when you have read a series for 10 years and it ends with no true resolution for you favorite character.
