Tekishutsu (Extraction)

One of the most common things to happen to a ninja is to get a foreign object lodged somewhere in his or her body. Normally, this poses an issue as these objects tend to be weapons which are normally designed to inflict even more damage when forcefully removed from your flesh. Medical ninjas, however, can use this skill to, in tandem with other skills you'll learn like blood coagulation for example, remove an object lodged in a body without further damaging the tissue around it. So, when a patient's body has a foreign object in it, such as the point of a shuriken, a senbon needle, or an arrow, it is important to remove the object without further harming the patient. Using this technique the Medical Ninja places their hands on either side of the injured area and uses chakra to very carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues in order to remove the object without causing any further damage. Depending on the severity of the wound and nature of the object, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to remove it.

Bend over...Nakiri, remove the... "object" from his butt.

Nakiri watched as the wooden material is placed onto his fellow student's ass cheek ; what a day to be a medic in training... None the less, Nakiri walked over towards his bent partner and looking at the wooden splinter. Channeling medical chakra into his palms, Nakiri would flow the chakra around the affected area. Now with his mastery of chakra control he slowly flowed the chakra into the tissues around the splinter while calmly pulling on it as he attempted the extraction. As the splinter began to move, Nakiri flowed his chakra more gently keeping the skin tissues from rupturing as he pulled slowly from the wounded area. One final tug was enough as the splinter came right out without further damage to his skin.

ok, so when put in practice, this skill needs to be followed with an actual healing technique. It just allows you to take out stuff like for example a hook or a serrated blade, etc etc from tissues without further damaging them. It serves the purpose of making sure you understand that foreign objects in someone's body can both do damage entering it and being removed. When you treat such things though, this becomes more or a passive skill you simply add into the description of how you remove the object.
