I've seen it last Saturday and yeah, I think I agree with you about pretty much everything.

I personally came into the theatre thinking I was going to see something like the DC version of Deadpool, and got a little disappointed when I saw the story was getting linear.

Another thing I didn't appreciate much was the final power up of Diablo, who outta nowhere revealed himself to be a similar freak to the ones who were trying to destroy the mankind

The villain was disappointing, it really looked they recycled it from some movie like The Mummy.

However, Harley was cool, the gags were funny and the action scenes were ok.

If I have to rank it from 1 to 10. I would say 7,25

Yea, the later trailers gave that false impression of this being a comedy. Forced humor is also apparent down the line.

Especially Smith telling that guy to slap Enchantress' ass. While it was funny, it was totally out of place.

As for El Diablo, I had no idea what was going on there. They should've explained it a bit especially since this version of the character wasn't even properly presented in the comics so that was just a big wtf moment for me and it really showed the incoherence of the film.
