Is actually pretty amazing but you have to be into that whole space exploration survival shit.
Luckily I fall in that category so I'm having a blast with it. Apparently there's going to be some big updates coming soon.
For those who play how're you enjoying it so far?

I'm actually really enjoying it myself. I could see why some people hate on it though. But it's pretty much what I expected and despite the repetition I have no problem sinking a few hours at a time just wandering around a few planets, maybe chasing down a new ship, etc.. It's oddly peaceful and addicting

Shit game tbh.

I'd rather play Space Rangers 2 anyday than this.

Are there enemies?

Yeah hostile environment, species, and space pirates. I think the main enemy that can get the best of you is the environment (not really an enemy but it just shows that nature isn't forgiving). Currently in a planet that has constant blizzard storms

60Euro for this game is a delusional price imo. The game mechanics and sandbox-environment would bore me very quickly.
But if you enjoy it, then it's fine ^-^

It's worth it if you're into space science and exploration. Some galaxies have mysteries black holes that'll throw you in a different galaxy. The universe of the game is so random and different which makes this game seem so realistic in terms of what we think the future behind space exploration can have. I myself have always loved astronomy and the mysterious vast idea of space. It's crazy how they did this game but it works every planet I've explored so far has been different some more peaceful some with hostile environment (like blizzards or acid rain storms) or creatures. Hopefully in a future update they can incorporate multiplayer to some degree which I'm sure they will. Gonna make s thread soon posting pics of different planets I found.

what im wondering is how are the frames on a new planet? also have you seen any super similar worlds created? have you seen just empty worlds, like a say a moon with little happening?

also can you make a settlement in new worlds?

What do you mean by frames? Frame rate? It was a little buggy at the beginning but they patched it. No similarities so far, every planet is different some toxic winds of freezing cold or scorching heat especially for the ones that are close to their Suns. Some planets have cold nights and scorching days. Extreme hazardous planets are hard to survive on. I've been on two planets where it's nothing but ocean with exotic life below. Some planets have a moon or multiple moons that are just a different as planets. Thing is it's nearly impossible to search the entire planet or moon by how large scale it is. Well it's possible but it'll take a while especially considering most planets I visited have cave systems and of oceans and mountains.

damn that sounds cool imo. few more sorry, i just havent talked to anyone whose actually played it a lot yet to have a real opinion

so with the planets being so huge, say if i wanted to explore one fully for a few days. does it autosave my location or do you have to set up like a tent of some sort? also once you leave a planet to go to another, leave the game and come back to play. would the planets ive been too still have the same things generated or will it be a completely new planet?

No problem I don't mind the questions.
There's is auto saving at camp bases that are randomly generated on planets in the next update it'll have to where you can build a base. Once you leave a planet and go back to it things you've done there will be the same but if you leave the galaxy via black hole you may never see that Galaxy again if you've been tossed around space millions of light years away. The game uses the realistic algorithm we use irl to calculate the infinite universes and its planets moon and random black holes. I can stream it now for you if you'd like considering I'm playing it and I'll show you whatever you'd like to see

Yeah no problem. Just a heads up, this game is bigger than anything ever made its actually impossible to explore every Galaxy because of the size of the universe and space. This is probably the biggest reason many dislike the game. Which is ironic in the sense that many gamers always want something more real and innovating.

Out of pure boredom, I looked up what happens when you reach the center of the galaxy in "No Man's Sky". I laughed a lot. Actually, I've never been this happy about not-buying a game before.
