Why do people hate the Boruto stuff?

It's infinitely better than the Super bullshit that has completely raped the integrity of the Dragon Ball franchise. It's tone is actually serious and dramatic rather than filled with shitty gag characters and nonsense. The characters act like normal people instead of complete ****ing retards, the Super characters are brain dead and their personalities are far removed from what they were in Z, Vegeta lacks pride and is Beerus's *****, Goku is completely retarded he was never that goofy and retarded in Z he actually took himself seriously SOMETIMES, not much needs to be said about Gohan, he didn't even ask why future Trunks was back, it makes no sense.

Super is filled with terrible cringe humor for 9 year olds. Boruto feels like a legit story written by people who actually give a **** and are trying to make something exciting, interesting and serious rather than just some huge mess with regressed character development and plot holes and watered down tension with no violence.

I'm glad I switched from being a Dragon Ball fan to a Naruto one because Super is utter garbage and I pity the fans who still put up with it.

Because it maintains the serious feel of Naruto where adult ninjas run a political world and take their jobs seriously. It is written realistically the characters are intelligent and show character progression through maturity.

I think they are cool, they are little kids you're coming off of shippuden which the characters had matured now we're back to preteens with rich parents realistically they are going to have personality issues and be bratty.

and the movie was good, and it is adapted well in the manga maintaining the atmosphere and having great sense of dimension and dramatic angles. Naruto and Sasuke's conversations show how their relationship has developed, they no longer seem like emotionally charged teenagers they seem like responsible adults, I love it.

Hating the Kishi Boruto stuff so far is another issue since that is on Kishi's part and we have content so far

We don't have any content for the new stuff, at best a total of 3 pages to criticize and even then there are more questions then anything else.

We have to wait until we get out of this Boruto the movie stuff.

Post recap can be good, it can be bad we don't know but must instead wait and see.

I don't blame Naruto fans for being critical of Boruto, it's a continuation of their fandom, it's important. I was a huge Dragon Ball fan, Super ruined the story for me, I have a right to be upset about about that. I wanted the story to be good but it's not, it's terrible. My argument is that Boruto holds far more promise, it hasn't dropped the ball like people have said. It's recapping the movie very well, despite gripes about character designs the art is improving exponentially. As Naruto fans we should count our blessings, this is so much better than it could have been, in fact at least in my opinion I am impressed.

Dude coming from a fellow huge and long time db fan GT was straight garbage. Some of the story points were decent, but most of the characters looked pretty bad(vegeta, really??) and most importantly the fight scenes where straight ass compared to z. I can't speak on your opinion of super. I don't think it's bad considering some of the other crazy shit going on in z, and with goku and vegeta now being at God level it makes sense they would open up a new realm of things for them. I like it, it's not great, but they're showing progress imo, and it's not over so there's always time for improvement
