[Discussion] Edward Weevil's next appearance..

Is anyone else here starting to think that maybe Edward Weevil's real Mom is Charlotte Linlin a.k.a. Big Mom?

And maybe that is how he will end up being included in this arc?


Do you think this is a possibility?

I doubt it though it's not impossible. We probably won't see Weevil included in an arc for awhile though we may get an update on his search in this arc.

I still think Weevil is a zombie with the shadow of WB's real son, and these next few arcs will tie together a story involving Moriah, Kaido, Weevil, Big Mom, and the Strawhats with the WB pirates, which each group having roles in different stages.

I like your idea.. the only part I have a hard time agreeing with though is the idea that WB had a biological son.

I'm pretty sure Mrs Bakkin really is his mom. It's just the father up for debate, and all we know for sure is that it isn't Whitebeard.

He's most likely going to make an appearance when the strawhats meet up with Marco, but who knows which side he'll be on.

The problem with the shadow zombie theory is Moriah disappeared after MF and if he wanted WB's shadow he would have had to take it there at MF which we know he didn't. Also when a shadow was placed on a new host that host took on the personality of the shadow owner, never have they claimed to be the son of the shadow. If Weevil was made from WB's shadow then he would think he's WB not WB's son. And while I got you, why so petty? I thought you were better than that. :|

Moriah's zombies can't be in sunlight iirc. Weevil would have burned away if was was one of Moriah's zombies.

WB didn't know about him, but based on his age WB would have made him during his time as a Pirate so how would he not know? Also if it was a shadow and Weevil is so strong that means the shadow owner was strong as Weevil was said to be by Kizaru so how did someone that strong get beaten by Moriah?

If the original owner of the shadow dies, the shadow dissappears meaning if you are correct, WBs real son must still be around. This makes your idea less credible as a motivation for WB to make his crew. This theory would also mean that WBs real son is also an idiot because the corpse takes on the personality of the original owner of the shadow, just like oars did and just like that one zombie that was possessed by sanjis shadow. This would mean that there is actually no reason for this to be a zombie because it wouldn't add anything to the story at all in the way you suggested.

The shadow's carry the strength of the owner so you're saying Weevil is so strong because he has WB's sons shadow but at the same time say WB's son was so young when his shadow was stolen. Looking at Weevil we can say safely he's older than Luffy. If he's 30 WB had him when he was in his 40's if he's in his 20's WB had him in his 50's either way WB was a pirate since before Luffy was born and Weevil is older than Luffy.

IF WB had him at 20 then at 40 his kid would be 20 but we know he had a crew when he was 40. So he either had a kid before he was 20 or the kid died before reaching age 20. If the kid died before reaching age 20 and was beaten by Moriah do you really think his shadow would be strong enough to hunt WB pirates? Also why would WB have let Moriah go? Kaidou wrecked his whole crew you think WB wouldn't have been able to do the same? It's a nice efoort to validate your thought but there's too many holes for the pieces to all fit tightly. I kinda want him to fight marco and nekomamushi, cos if neko and marco just talk each other out and marco joined the aliance that easily its not gonna be fun atleast if weevil found marco with neko we will see how strong marco became before the war.

There is an alternative to that though.. if Nekomamoushi and Marco meet up and just have a peaceful discussion, it can still be okay cause Oda might bless us with a flashback of Marco and crew vs the Blackbeard pirates! So we could still have some action packed panels at that time.

Just a possibility though..
