Suicide Squad was not good...

Saw it yesterday.

Pros:

-Cast is pretty good. Except Jared Leto.
-Harely Quinn's character(remove her and movie would have been utterly dull).
-Music.

Cons:

-Shit editing. This movie is choppy as hell.
-Terrible action scenes.
-Terrible as an ensemble cast. Deadshot and Harley hog all the spotlight, while giving other characters little to no shine. Some characters should have just been written out.
-Boring and generic threat.
-Horrible Joker. He sounds like a duck when he laughs.
-Horrible script. HOW is that team going to take down someone as powerful as Superman? They are not even metahumans with the exception of El Diablo. Why not just form a team with the someone like Flash and Wonder Woman? Etc.

Waller chose them as members before Enchantress went rogue. The reason why the team was formed is because they were worried about another Zod coming to earth. With the exception of Enchantress and Diablo none of these people could take on an evil Superman.

It was to me too. But only because of Harley. I'd loved her and Robbie nailed it!

Leto's Joker was atrocious imo, but tbf he wasn't given much of a chance to start with. He was in the movie for like 10 mins.

Main cast is what kept this movie from being an absolute piece of shit. Deadshot and Quinn were solid.

The last 20 mins of this movie were absolutely cringeworthy, shitty lines, crappy slowmo, horrible villains, just a travesty of an ending. I was ready to say this movie was actually solid, then the last 20 mins hit.

to be fair, they reshot nearly all of the Joker scenes. Leto confirmed it. The material was too close to R rated and the bad reviews of BvS made Warner go for a lighter tone. Might explain a lot.

A few pros:
They look like they're going to adapt portions of Injustice and Birds of Prey "what if the next Superman is bad" and "I've killed my fair share of canaries(Black Canary and Birds of Prey have been rumored)
Harley helped with the death of Robin
Deadshot and Batman look like locks too.
Joker and Harley will likely show up in Batman, along with the Death in the Family story.
