lol sasuke is not a likeable character, but he has plausible reasons to go crazy. He was written to be antaghonistic. Naruto passed through the same things but chose a different path.

He trying to kill her or any other characters wasn't ok , but, on the other hand, sasuke made clear he wanted nothing to do with Sakura, and she forced her feelings even so. Taking account he was already psycho and killed everybody who tried to stop him, Sakura is the blame for pursuing a character like that. Also, Sakura knew her feelings were childish and shallow, she said this in the manga out of loud... she's deporable.

Why people always put NH in a Sakura thread? I don't like Hinata too much, but it seems the SS fans are salty? Hinata had a platonic love the entire manga, but Naruto never humilliated her in any way. He wasn't forced to like Hinata back just because she had a crush on him, but later he reconized and returned her feelings. Also, she had a plausible reason to like him that's not shallow like his looks and status. Their relationship is healthy.

Sure, anyone can think Sasuke got with her out of pity so they can allow themselves to not think any less of Sasuke for it, but then they'd just be supporting a false narrative.

I would be ok with this scene and interpret as a romantic statement if sasuke had really returned to her.
Instead of that, he was always distant and she chased after him - not the other way around. Also, the poke face doesn't have a romantic conotation and i'll not even comment about his absence at home and non existent role in raising Sarada.

it is up to opinion but Sasuke went in to kill Sakura

he was at the point of discarding her for no real reason compared to Naruto who he knew and admitted himself he had a bond with that needed to be severed

Sakura is a representative of the 21st century shallow bimbo that goes for the asshоle based on some loosely defined form of "love" and tolerates all form of abuse. Throw in the fact that she's indecisive as hell, has put her friends at risk all for the sake of that guy, is generally not that useful, isn't well written or entertaining to watch in the slightest, and... yeah, it's pretty easy not to like her, simply because she's a trash character.

Sasuke, on the other hand, throughout the whole time was driven by goals many readers can agree with and justify what he was doing. Wasn't chasing a girl all this time because of a non-existent good reason for falling in love, so you know - he wasn't one-dimensional. Now throw in the fact that he knows what he has to do and does it, is a strong badass, and is by far one of the best characters in the series, plus the funny fact that almost killing an annoyance like Sakura was poetic justice and also won him fans makes him completely incomparable to her.

Polar opposites, really.
