Rinnegan powers

I have been wondering for sometime that can Preta Path be used for dispelling Genjutsus? I mean Genjutsu basically involves a person controlling another by manipulating his chakra using his own. Now lets say if a rinnegan user is put under genjutsu can't he just use Preta Path to absorb the foreign chakra in his system making him immune to every Genjutsu including IT? What are your thoughts regarding this?

I might be wrong but wasn't one of the rennigans abilities that it automatically can break out of genjutsu

Depends on if the Genjutsu is strong enough to prevent the Rinnegan user from being able to manipulate chakra properly to activate Preta in the first place. Preta has limitations; Wood Dragon drained Madara's chakra, and Madara couldn't activate Preta to absorb more chakra.

If Madara is able to pull 2 huge meteorites from outter space, what stops him from throwing anything to outter space, and that's just edo madara arguable the weakest form of an original rinnegan user :bdpf:

I believe Rinnegan is immune to visual genjutsu, but not all Genjutsu, like the Sound Gen Ma and Pa Toad used

Yeah I believe the rinnegan is immune to all genjutsu ever since it showed to counter IT. But if someone is super skilled with the rinnegan preta path will neg genjutsu I guess

I don't think so or Pain would have done this when Jiraiyah out one of his paths in that frog genjutsu
