Sakura the strongest kunoichi?

sakura is the stronger of her generation, but not the stronger kunoichi of all times. Tsunade, Chiyo, Kushina, and probably Konan and Mei are stronger than her. - Not sure about Konan and Mei, honestly - maybe they are stronger than Sakura, or maybe they are on the same level, i dunno.

All kunoichis of the current generation are mediocre, and Sakura out of nothing became a decent ninja. Other than that, she has brute force, but she's too dumb to make use of that. Hinata and Ino had potential, they are elite but not of sakura level. Not sure what went "wrong" with them.

I hope Sarada became the stronger of all, she has potential to became badass. The same a say for Chouji's daughter, forget her name.

Sakura is the strongest kunoichi, she can beat Tsunade, Mei, Konan, and Chiyo.

I wouldn't say that.. Probably in the strength department, maybe.
However, the only feat that Sakura has with the department of chakra control that people may see as better than Tsunade is her ability to use Byakugou without handseals.

However:

1. Tsunade released the Yin seal in part 1 without handseals but then proceeded to use the handseals afterwards.
2. Sakura and Tsunade both released a portion of the Yin seal without handseals when they summoned Katsuyu in the war arc (The only seal they used was a summoning seal).
3. Unlike Sakura, Tsunade needs to put aside a portion of her Chakra to maintain her Youth ninjutsu, a feat that no one really paid attention to (Tazilla88 mentioned it once). I would say that Tsunade has more control because she's balancing 2 techniques at a time (3 if she's using her strength) while Sakura can devote her full chakra reserves to one technique, which is why her strength feats seem bigger.
4. This is a wide assumption but if you look at all the times Tsunade released her seal using handseals, she wasn't in dire need of combat at that point in time, i.e. she didn't need to be in a rush like Sakura when she released her seal. Sakura was running towards Madara while she released her seal so she didn't have time to use handseals. Meanwhile, Tsunade released her seal in part 1 without a seal at first but then used a handseal to activate it (She wasn't running towards Orochimaru but she was proceeding to heal herself while standing still then summoning Katsuyu). She then released her seal while talking to Madara about her 4 rules of medical ninjutsu so she had time to use a handseal for less stress or until her speech was done. There was also the other time when she used Sozo Saisei after appearing on the battlefield but that again, she wasn't in immediate combat at that point in time because she was surrounded by the other Kages. Again that's just an assumption and if it holds true, then Tsunade would have the ability to release her jutsu without seals. I mean the woman did pour all her chakra into Katsuyu while running towards Deva Path in an instant to save her villagers, and she only had a palm sized Katsuyu in her pocket so I guess that was her medium.

Not that I can remember.. She did state that she doesn't need to use chakra to look young.

This is an interesting thread with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.

Mei: too fast and 2 Kekkei genkai=dead Sakura

Tsunade: better overall so she wins

Konan: can't die to Sakura without running out of chakra and losing her paper body jutsu like against obito so even an unskilled konan is just a bad matchup for Sakura

Every other konoha 11 kunoichi she probably beats unless hinata decides to use her clans natural talents like they should be or Ino mind transfers and kills herself, tenten probably can't kill her with the weapons she has, temari would win if she used a win jutsu that could cut Sakura clean in half therefore no healing without Katsura and temari wouldn't allow that

If Sakura had more jutsu she would be very powerful but she's really only good for the tank of a group drawing fire and not dying from it but 1v1 she's trash
