Since when was barely reacting to Shizune a good feat?

Its the way he reacted , the speed of the attack which left him with barely enough time to tilt his head along with the situation and type of attack which she did after she had blitzed to collect Naruto , these are the type ninja move i loved about the series back then.

Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't kabuto still under the effects of tsunade's path way jutsu at the time?

No buts thats also a great reaction feat to ad to the mix , even better than the feat in question since he recovered nigh instantly and was able to move smoothly , no wonder why Kishi kept hyping him on Kakashis level.

Gaara saving Lee and himself right as Kimimaro does the Bone forest. That was pretty impressive.

Yea that was impressive but all he did was simulataneously lift Lee and himself up off the ground with sand which was under both of them.

Except it wasn't plot..Using the gates causes strain on the users muscles and that's what happened with Lee..Gaara just reacted at the perfect time.

Yea but the i'd have to find all the other magic moments where Substitution was utilized LOL..

Kabuto couldn't react. That was luck

However Sakura body flicker and substitution jutsu was pretty impressive , seeing as how you have to actively move and replace yourself with the log, Sakura did that faster than the speed of sound

I also thought this was the case but it seems substitution is a form of swap technique that can happen nigh instantly , unless u think Gaara was able to actively move and replace himself with a sand clone while he was busy getting kicked into the air by Lee?

-Sakura had a nice reaction feat where she caught Naruto with a Kunai in the forest too.
