Kishi goes up and down at times but only in the intermediate stages of them developing powers. At the end it always balances out. Hago chakra evened the gap.

Sasuke had EMS beginner stage while Naruto had KCM, then he went ahead by gaining BM. Sasuke caught up by dveloping his eyes more with Kyuubi chakra help. Then Naruto lead again with BSM. Sasuke closed the gap with juugos aid using the curse mark he already mastered.

In the end one could say he got to keep curse marl since he can still make Black chidoris and use six paths.

Curse mark had nothin to do with his black chidori that was straight up six path chakra which is basically potent senjutsu

Yea BSM naruto > EMS sasuke, but juugos curse mark serves as sasuke's senjutsu boost and kurama cloak, that's why he should be on par with BSM naruto, IMO that is
