Nope. They need external power greater than SM to beat Susano'o. It's not something you can do Naturally.

Considering he needed to switch out to a more potent Susano'o right when Naruto attacks him, confirms that Naruto's Rasengan is strong enough to cause a level of difficulty for the ribcage. Although I bet the monster-sized Rasengan (FRS one) Naruto demonstrated around Chapter 655, 656, would be a tough one to deal with too.

If OP posted more of the scans, Madara used Ribcage to block it, but the moment that the Rasengan was going to implode, Madara switched Susano'os and blocked the damage.

Well slightly rhetorical question on my part since as far as I just saw & re-read: madara blocked and pushed away the OR with ribcage b4 going his full v1 to shit on the SA as is his particular fashion..

Up until he whipped out Rinnegan he was not pressed at all.. just toying/being boss that he is.. he gradually powered up in jest cuz bar hashirama & m'Lord Crow ofc.. he rekts

If boruto's vanishing rasengan was on steroids, then maybe. He could aim it to the Susanoo's spine, where's its weak spot's at. Just like how danzo did it.

From my interpretation it looked like he put up Ribcage thinking he could take the full effects, and when the Rasengan was about to explode, he switched to deflect it fully.

Although he was definitely not going all out obv.

Lol what? MAYBE teen naruto,but an choodama rasengan or rasenshuriken from base adult naruto easilydestroys a perfect susanoo. Or have you forgotten how a choodama rasengan powered by naruto's chakra,destroyed the same size rasengan of a bijuu powered otsutsuki,Destroyed some earth crust,destroyed a part of a small shinju,flew all the way to space and killed momoshiki all in one go.
