also everyone has the impression that women suck in NV due to kishi's writing, really dunno whether its his fault or not (you know because there are editors and I dunno japanese culture or whether the fact that its a shounen makes women there useless)

but I'm really glad she didnt turn out like that.. then she started going on with the whole shanaroo crap.. that killed me. all my hopes and dreams of someone female having potential to develop into this useful female character gets snuffed out in one single catch phrase.

I do hope she doesnt become a carbon copy of Sakura... kishi destroyed her character and I dont want sarada following the same route as that.

There was literally 4 or 5 pages of timeskip. How do you expect that to cover up all that shit that was happening? Where was Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Gaara, etc while the village was being destroyed? Maybe fighting other villains (Sarada and Mitsuki too). the old story already mentioned the Uchiha being naturally gifted in the art of fighting, so it has less to do with whose kid she is and more to do with whose descendant she is. The only thing Salad has to thank Sasuke for is her looks.

Sakura probably had the most potential of team 7 , due to her chakra controlling ability , intellect , and genjutsu affinity , but she wasn't taught, it had nothing to do with he over all skill. Sarada inherted Sakura's chakra control and intellect and probably her analytical ability , though the genjutsu affinity is also assumed because she is uchiha . And we don't know sarada elemental nature , but it's implied that all uchiha have fire release , and she probably has one of Sakura too
