No I think the funniest thing about the DB is that Salad has better stats than Bolt and Mitsuki, but they both defeat her regardless.

You're confusing fanfic with canon, Boruto had an entire movie to prove himself yet he did nothing but prove he's nothing but a fodder with daddy issues. In terms of overall stats the databook is reliable in showing a glimpse on which characters are stronger in base (the latest databook showed that itachi and jiraiya are the strongest which is true), but don't worry I'm sure in the near future Boruto will get free power ups like his father (which we can already see happening from looking at the first chapter of the shitty new manga) :sdo:

I guess this is what you have when you ignore canon. Bolt's movie wasn't to show his abilities or how he can solo the competition, like you said it was for his situation with his father. Still Data-Book stats aren't helping anyone, just giving us an understanding of how these shinobi's are trained. Still for a DB which showcases off-panel techniques and ignores on-panel/movie techniques, it says a lot.

Also did you see that Boruto has the lowest intelligence stat of Team Konohamaru? Despite Kishi and the Boruto movie confirming him to be a genius.

This fanfic stats. I bet the author thinks that Boruto should parallel Naruto by being the dumbest of his respective group and the least capable ninjutsu wise. SMH, that's the entire counterpoint the Boruto movie set out to disprove.

thats invalid logic. him being a supposed genius doesnt automtically mean he is more intelligent that the other two. sarada definitely seems to be smarter than him both in battle and outside it. Mitsuki looks like a generally knowledgeable character
