Naruto nor Hinata dropped out, they passed. Even now Naruto>Sasuke and Hinata>Sakura.
So Boruto has the superior parents.
Sasuke was the one needing all the help he could get. He got spared multiple times thanks to Plot/Naruto and needed Itachi's eyes, Rinnegan, and 8.5 Bijuu just to give Naruto a fight. Yet even that wasn't enough.

Last time, that Uchiha needed Itachi's eyes + Rinnegan + 8.5 Bijuu just to be able to square off with a single Uzumaki. :lol
