No it doesn't 1 man can't do all that. When the senju and uchiha fought hashirama always fought madara. So who was fighting the rest of the uchihas? The other senju members thats who, and that's how they were known to be superior to the uchiha. Aside from sasuke and Sarada all the other uchiha are dead. What's your point?

Despite of what happened Kakashi still refrenced the Uchiha clan being the most power fullest clan of his generation. Numbers do not equate to strength after all as we've seen multiple shinobi take out thousands on their own.

The reason the Ichiha were killed by 2 of their own is because the village wanted to keep it discreet. Guess what would happen if they openly sent the Hyuga and other clans to directly fight the Uchiha clan?

Absolute chaos. While I agree Uchiha are the strongest clan in the village, they are not strong enough to deal with all the clans as a whole including ANBU and the Hokage at the time.

The end result would be lots of death and a severely weakened Kanoha which their enemies would capitalize on. In the end, openly going against the Uchiha would have meant the end of Kanoha, which means yes the Uchiha were the strongest clan in Kanoha
