I don't care what manga publishers want, there's no way in hell I'm paying 15 bucks for a manga volume.
They don't even have many manga series here in Canada :/

I suggest once it goes down people should check out MangaFox, they have quite a lot of manga.(if this is advertising then please edit my post for me,mods ^^)

well what you can do is start emailing Kishi and other authors and publishers and polietly but sternly say that because of their actions, they are going to continue to lose money because you are no longer willing to purchase ANY product that is related to their manga, i.e. no more purchasing dvd's, tshirts and other goods that you would normally buy.

I'm pretty sure that if you get enough people to either sign a petition or email the authors/publishers that they will change their mind and/or come up with some solution for a more wide spread and quick release of the mangas in different languages. They are taking this stance because they feel that its the scanlators fault for their loss of sales and not the fact that many countries don't get up to date releases and others doesn't even get the manga and have to view it online. I'm sure once they see thousands of people who are willing to boycott ALL manga related products, causing them to lose even more money, they will be more willing to come up with a proper solution.

Personally, I'd be completely willing to pay a monthly subscription fee to read manga's online, as long as its a proper translation and manga that isn't censored.

manga fox is doing the same thing...a lot of large main stream sites are removing mangas or shutting down completely

I guess there really is an end to everything, I've been reading manga on OM for almost four years now. I kind of grew up with that site and i really will miss it.

The problem with MS is that, as soon a volume of an arc is released, they remove the chapters which that volume contains from their Manga Directory. For isntance the entire WB-sage of OP is gone. The reason why they do this is to encourage people to buy those volumes.

OM did't do that, they kept all the manga's.

I do hope that`s the reason and not because they scanlated them like MS?

If so, will MS go bye-bye sooner or later too? Where the F*** am I going to read then?!

The volum with it`s latest release is only at the end of the pain arc! If all scanlation sites goes down, then Kishi and others will only have to focus on volums from no on and then the volums will get up to date like it has been on the net, right?

Or am i reading too much into it all?

Anyway, this makes me shocked. I always read MS an OM version to get different translations, but now what am i going to do?! Damn!

What about new readers? every new readers from now on will have to buy all the volums?
