No, it has never been foreshadowed that, lol. Chimera ants as a whole were B level, because they were not all Meruems. Meruem himself is B because it only costed the life of 1 man. Ging himself would get ultra raped by Meruem.

Yes chimera ants where B as a whole, including all of the weak ones. But they were ranked AFTER defeating all of them. Once the hunters took over the mission, only 1 person died (and the stronges person). If the hunters association went after the chimera ants and fought them without Netero, all of them would get killed by the king, and they would be S rank, that's simple logic.

But the life of 1 man is enough to stop them, so they were ranked as B. If every single them ant was even half as powerful as Meruem, they would be sss+. That's why i said Meruem is B, since he's the only reason why the ants are B at all.

And we know 1 thing for sure, Netero >> Any other human. Ging stands no chance against meruem by simple manga logic.

Enhanced Gon was not stronger than Prime Meruem and Hisoka isn't even close

adult gon is around meruem's level based on what pitou said. New Hisoka is nowhere near as strong as Meruem.

Pitou said he reached levels stronger than base Merum, He was still getting stronger through the process and for sure he was above him. Merum only at a small portion of the two guards just to revitalize himself. If he consumed them the rest of the royal guards as a whole then he would be stronger than Gon.
As for Hisoka I meant skill wise and not power-wise. The guy has a hard-time dying and his nen grew way stronger than he was before. I'm sure he's gonna show us something fairly impressive and that's why I said "possibly" in my post.

the ants that are b threats are normal chimera ants, the one that we had are special chimera ants that absorbed the best strongest humans and their king is a damn S++++++ abooove A

Of course OP. Don't you know in every shounen manga how the big bad guy needs all the good guys to go at them together to be defeated? Meruem needed only one man, Netero, to be dealt with.

Now on whether there will be someone stronger than Meruem? Not fully sure, because since Meruem was about to die anyways, Togashi made him beyond anything imaginable, something no current character shown could even hope to touch.

If Post Rose Meruem is a 100, the next strongest character shown would be a 60. That is how strong Togashi had made Meruem before his death.

Simply put since Togashi knew nobody had to fight and put down Meruem, he made him almost limitless in strength, because he knew he could write his way out of it (since he was poisoned).

You're closer, but I'm not sure you are totally correct either.

It's the actual species the Chimera Ants that were calculated to be B rank. That is, before all the feeding and what not, the species at its core, with its potential and what not taken into account. We have no idea what they would have ranked if they started off as strong as they ended up.

Also just because Netero is the head of the Hunter Association doesn't mean we know for a fact he's the strongest ever, for all we know Ging and the other 4 of the top 5 nen users turned down the position leaving Netero. Ging is stated to be 1 of the top 5 Nen users so until that's classified better he has a chance to be number 1 as unlikely as that may seem to some.

About the new Hisoka thing, he's probably only in the same tier as chrollo now. He was borderline that tier before imo, and now he's fully in. Not to mention he got stomped by Chrollo because of the conditions of the fight. I think the new Hisoka stands a chnce against chrollo, and of course, he is not even 1% of meruem.

Yes, Netero was in fact stated to be the strongest Nen user, and it was stated by Moreu that even at his current (old) level, he's still far above any other hunter.

Ging being n1 is a joke since he clearly is not even on par with old Netero

I meant to say don't remember*. My first post was correct. Post-bomb Meruem would be up there but I still think it's safe to say that he's been topped seeing how this is a shonen & the scaling of the Dark Continent compared to the human world.
