Since Super takes place 6 months after they defeated Kid Buu, do you think DBS will have the same ending as DBZ with goku flying off again to train Uub? Or with all the time travel/multiverse's will there be another ending separate from Z.

I hope that DB Super will exceed and include the ending of DBZ. I still have my hopes up that the universal tournament will take place in the far future, so that Uub can take part in it. Let's say each universe has 5 fighters like in the tournament of Champa (we will see the universe 6 characters there again I hope).. then universe 7 needs two more fighters. There are only Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo. Buu probably won't be able to take part again.. and even if he does, there is still one open seat left. Gohan would be the worst option, since DB Super made it clear that Gohan is not a fighter anymore. He never wanted to fight and train in the first place.

Uub would be perfect for this role. I really enjoy the character Uub and hope that he will get some more spotlight in Super. If he becomes half as cool as he was in GT, then I'd be already happy.

Im still a little unsure of the timeline of events in Dragonball at this point, but how is Super 6 months after the events of Buu? It was my understanding that when Super recapped the movies, it jumped around a few years. Again, Im unsure of the timeline, but from what I vaguely remember, wasnt there like a 6 month gap between Battle of Gods and Resurrection F? At the very least I know there was a significant gap between when Freiza was resurrected to when they arrived at Earth.

Then you factor in ALL the timeskips that we've had since then with Goku and Vegeta training with Whis and such. I think it's safe to assume that its been a few years fince the Buu saga, which would lead me to believe that the ending with Uub is no longer canon.

Nah. Trunks and Goten are still children, while they were teens at the end of DBZ. There are a few years to go. I've looked up the timeline. Don't know how accurate it is, but it looks good to me:

Age 774 is when Kid Buu dies by the Super Genkidama.
Age 778 is when Beerus and Whis come to Earth during Battle of Gods.
Age 779 is when Frieza comes back to life and arrives on Earth some months later. Also Pan is born.
Age 780 is when the Champa-tournament between universe 6 and 7 takes place.
Age 784 is when Goku meets Uub in the tournament and then they fly off together.

Ah, well thank you for giving me some better clarification on the timeline :)

If that timeline is accurate though, I do see an issue with where Super is going. Assuming that timeline is correct, then there's only 3 years max until 784. Meaning about after the upcoming universe-wide tournament we should be near 784 - which I dont think is enough to time magically see Trunks and Goten become teenagers.

So what Im thinking is either that ending is going out the window, OR we're going to get a timeskip soon and the anime will continue from there (the anime may just have to change the dates around to accommodate). Personally, I would love to see a cannonized arc about Goku training Uub and see how the plot continues from there. Because that would allow us to see (as canon) Trunks, Goten, and Pan grown up a bit more. I think at the rate the show is progressing it would be a shame to just end the anime once it reaches that point.

Well, Goten was born in Age 767 according to this timeline. In the Buu-arc (Age 774) he should be 7 years old, Trunks has a similar age. Now in the current Super-episodes, they should be 13 or 14 years old, but still look like 7/8. The animation-team messed that up. They should already look like Teen Gohan during the Cell-arc by now.

I thought Uub was a filler character, since DBS took place just after Buu saga. So there is no panel of uub in the place....

In the manga they seem like 3-4 years old to me

Uub isn't filler, he was in the last chapter of DBZ, which took place 10 years after Buu's defeat. DB Super takes place within those 10 years so far, so Uub is currently just a toddler. Also, the DB Super manga is not canon btw. It's rather fanservice like GT was.

That's really not the case at all.
It's up to you what one you consider cannon, I personally perfer the manga because the Anime power levels inconsistencies and some of the fights rubs me up the wrong way at times and i think the manga does them better, Like the Frieza vs Piccolo and Goku Vs Hit and such.

People keep saying the manga is nothing but pure filler but iv'e yet seen the proof or such statements. Unless i missed them.
