That's not a typo.
1. Izanami
2. Flying Thunder God
3. Susanoo
4. Kamui
5. Rinne Tensei
6. Asura Path (Pain's Missiles)
of course. least liked is usually ones that solo's their faves :lol
Har-de-har.
I disliked Susanoo since it's introduction because it ruined Sasuke's awesome fighting style actually. Izanami is just a plain deus ex machina. Kabuto had to lose that battle but a 3 page explanation with diagrams wasn't the way to do it. Plain lame for any villain you don't think?
you can thank sagemode for that. what fun is it for hebi sasuke to get one shotted by some cheap frogkata? susanoo was needed. as for izanami, I agree that it was convenient but I also disagree because like it and most genjutsu for that matter, people are confused by how it fully works in depth. the diagrams was simply to show you how and when exactly the genjutsu set off which imo kishi should had done with previous genjutsus, particulary visual genjutsu that replicate reality like itachi usually do. it would've made itachi's gen feats more easily tolerable for people to use in debates. imo
It's not a bad concept for a jutsu at all- it's just pulled practically out of nowhere (mythology doesnt count bc Naruto isnt really consistent with it's mythology references) is overexplained and then never seen again. A therapy jutsu is fantastic and great for the crazed mess which is Kabuto but it's implemented awfully that it does come across as the 'Defeat Kabuto' jutsu when there were like 5 others ways Kishi could've had the duo win narrative-wise.
Also nah, Sage Mode was still entertaining to watch, there was still always tactics and choreography whereas Susanoo took Sasuke's CQC skills, wire, shuriken, fire jutsu and awesome sword/lightning style usage and turned him into a boring tank that he can spam and uses on every occasion (even to open doors)
