The breeze was quite high today, as the petals in the rose gardens behind the Nakiri mansion illuminated the courtyard in a dazzling array of colors. This was a new day as the young mistress of the clan walked ouside with her eyes closed. She can taste the amazing aromatic flavors that filled the air around her much to her pleasure. To her right side was her long time aid , Ryo Kurokiba as Alice and him stopped a few feet away from this stranger.

Excuse me but...who are you?
Ojo-sama... I think thats one of the new recruits...

Ryo replied in a bored tone. Alice's face flushed red in embarrassment, sweat beads dropped down her head. She quickly shook the thoughts away and addressed the new recruit.

Wby of course...i knew that. Anyway, please introduce yourself my sweet. What can the Goddess of Flavor do for you today.

Alice said to her.

This was definitely the person Kate was looking for, the short silver hair, the red eyes. But who was the other person? No, it didn't matter at that moment, she was here to learn the secrets of her clans.

" Hi, uh I'm Kate and I'm a ganmi. See the only other ganmi I knew till now was my mother, but she's dead now, so I never actually got the chance to learn anything about my own clan. About a week ago, I heard you would be able to teach me, so that's why I came. I came to learn and I want you teach me"

Fufu, are you a hasty one. Well then I'll keep the introductions short. My name is Alice Nakiri, current hier to the throne of our clan. Kate-chan, its quite a pleasure to meet you.

Alice said with a smile as she bowed as a greeting. She rose her head as she snapped her finger, her aid quickly dashing off to prepare for the first exercise. Alice in the mean time gave a book to Kate and announced the following instructions.

Well since you are new, I'd like you to read that book. It contains a history of the clan and all other important mobogombo related to us. After this I'd like you to tell me about our clan, our people... Our unbeaten mastery of Tastes

Alice said as she made a chair from her Doton chakra and also waiting on Ryo.

Kate receives the book from Alice and begins reading it. After a while, she closes she book and looks at Alice, then back at the book, then back at Alice once more. She then starts speaking.

" Hmm, well let's see, I'll make this really short. It all started when 'The Candy Maker' caused some kind of war along the Land of Water. From what I just read, this guy's taste ability was extraordinary. We Ganmi have not only corrosive saliva, but we also the ability to taste chakra all around us and are able to distinguish between different chakras. Our taste sensory allows us to sense even the faintest remnants of substances and pinpoint their origin, concentration and nature, so basically we can see everything without literally seeing it. Also from what I've seen, Ganmi are very attractive, this is something inherited I'm guessing? Yeah ,that's about all I know right now. "

"That is correct, but you missed out the most important part. We have our own unique branch if Genjutsu techniques that is known as Ganmi Genjutsu. This however won't be learnt, at least not yet. As you can tell and mentioned we are able to taste the chakra natures of different sentient and living beings but also to objects that surround us. The concentration of acids, the ingredients in a cake...you name it and we probably can sense it. Now as of right now your taste sensing is pretty weak in terms of range. For a Sil , you can only sense things within a 50 meter range of you, which isn't very far but that's what we will be practicing first.

Alice said as she noticed Ryo's chakra signal arriving back to her. She used her chakra in order to taste the different components contained within her next experiment. Alice nodded to Ryo and turned her attention back to her clan member.

" As I said earlier, in order to learn the clan arts you must first learn to increase and control the range of your taste sensory. As a Taester , you need to be able to sense up to 120 meters away from you. This however isn't possible in your current state. So our first exercise is to increase that range, which right now there are 4 containers hidden at exactly 120 meters from this point. I can sense them but you can't, so you need to try and increase that range of your taste sensory to make up the missing 70 meters. Fufu...don't think we made it easy however, this is your test to prove to me if your worth of being ranking up in the clan status. Once you manage to reach that 120 mark, I'd like you to describe to me what is in all four of the containers. They are located north of here by the way. Good luck!"

OOC: The containments are entirely up to you! Make sure to give some nice detail :)

Sorry for the hold up. Also Kate will be going with orange now,

"Alright I'll give it a try." Kate says calmly.

She then looks towards the north and begins concentrating chakra into her mouth. It didn't seem to be working though, she couldn't sense anything beyond 50 meters. Once again she begins concentrating more chakra into her mouth, manipulating it to move through each and every one of her taste buds. Yes, it was starting to work, but she didn't stop there, she kept gathering more chakra within her mouth. Kate couldn't see them, but she sure as hell could feel them, all the animals in the distance, a bunch of rocks piled up suspiciously i... .... ... .. What is this? Her mouth began to salivate like a hungry dogs as it was abruptly infiltrated by a different taste, she knew this taste all to well. Strawberries! How could she not, she loves strawberries, a slight bitterness underneath the strong sweetness followed by a faint sour flavor all hitting her taste buds at the same time, truly a unique fruit. She swallowed the pool of saliva that had accumulated within her mouth and spoke to Alice.

"The first container has strawberries in it. Although it doesn't seem to be hidden, it's in the center of a small open space."

Kate then turned back towards the same direction and once again began to gather a large amount of chakra in her mouth. She was a fast learner so she was able to do it with more ease this time. She took a large breath in and out as she scanned past the container full of strawberries once more, only loosing her concentration for a split second before she came across another odd taste. This one was sort of bland but at the same time tasted quite strong, it's texture soft and savory, containing a million strings of ... of ... ... ... ... ... MEAT!? After that it didn't take her long to realize that what she was tasting was chicken meat.

"Chicken, the second contains chicken. Poorly cooked but, still chicken. Also it was hidden within what seems to be, and correct me if I'm wrong here, a rabbit hole? Up your hiding game dude." Kate said looking at Alice's assistant.

She once again looked back towards the north, and this time it seemed to come naturally to her as she began once again using her sense of taste to locate the next container. She scanned the area until she swiftly caught a familiar taste, but it seemed to be coming from the top of a tree. Sweet, soft and delicate at the top, with an amazing scent (Assuming we can taste everything here, Including smells) mixed with just a slightly sharp and bitter taste. She remembered this taste from when she entered Alice's mansion, it was roses.

"The third has roses in it and it's on the 6th tree left of the first container."

Once again Kate turned back to the north and for a long while she was unable to find something. She gathered more chakra within her mouth but still nothing. Closing her eyes she tried to focus a little more trying to sense every thing at the same time until her mouth was abruptly raided by an instantly nauseating taste. It was like rotting vegetables, a foul and putrid odour. The taste of decay strongly attacking her taste buds causing her to nearly throw up. Why hadn't she noticed it before? She breathed out quietly keeping her stoic expression even though this was rather shocking and spoke as if what she sensed was regular.

"The fourth container has a dead human in it, male ,mid-twenties, been in there for quite a while if I do say so myself. Might want to get rid of that though it's sort of creepy. The container is under a pile of rocks. Your assistant sucks at hiding things."

Alice was quite pleased with the out come and with a small she would clap her hands as her trainee was really pleasing. Alice would take a moment to speak to her.

" Very good! As of right now you will be considered a Taester. Now at this rank you will be eligible to begin training in the clan arts. This will firstly be covered as our unique genjutsu known as Ganmi Genjutsu, which as of right now I'd like you to give me an idea of how you think this occurs."

She says as she begins to release from her mouth a toxin as it begins to slowly spread over the area. Alice would wait on a response.

Kate is going back to Indigo because Lisa is back.

Kate was thrilled due to the fact that she was able to move up in the clan ranks and couldn't help but smile a bit when Alice mentioned it.

"Well I don't know much but the little I know, I will tell you. Okay so these techniques combine the concepts of Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. The Taste Genjutsu use Taste and or Smell as a medium and in order to do so, we Ganmi exude a type of toxin that, through inhalation or ingestion/absorption through the mouth's mucous are carried on to the brain, together with chakra and trigger an illusion, thus allowing us to induce emotional disturbances in addition to the distortion of the senses. That's about all I know

Her aroma was quite delightful, it almost made Alice want to squeeze it out of her. With a nod her head, Alice would begin continue to loiter the air around them with an alluring aroma of her own, rich in flavors beyond the wildest of imaginations. Strange ,a feeling of true, unsettling joy ran through the body of the student, almost as if a youthful spring of radiant smiles perched onto her lips. The flower garden with a scented aroma of freshly cooked pork filtered your nose, soothing you and allowing you to feel an immense hunger, a hunger driven by your madness of wanting to know all the tastes of the world. This is the Ganmi, this is who we are.

Returning the world to normal,Alice would continue her teachings. She would reach into her pouch filled with all sorts of random assortments of pens, papers, cookie shurikens...yum. She would pull out a book which she kept her notes. She would hand it towards her student and begin to explain the process.

Goodie! What you just say was a wonderful wonderland of random assortments. But how did you feel? Happy correct? Well then let us continue onto as I prep you for the basics of the Ganmi Genjutu.

There are several components within the Ganmi Genjutsu - Fundamental Effect, Primary Effect, Secondary Effect and last but not least is the After Taste.

A brief explanation of each would be:

Fundamental Effect - Flavor

These deal with the main body of the Gamni Toxin and it is used to modulate the taste in order to get the whole variety of flavors possible. This allows the user to mimic any taste, and is used to give certain hues of flavor to every technique, or simply be used to create more diverse and realistic flavors. In essence, it means any genjutsu cast by a Ganmi can have a different perceived flavor, apart from the illusion the toxin triggers. This flavor will stay present throughout the duration of the illusion and cannot be hidden or masked by the illusion itself; its the trigger, the signature but also the weakness of the skill.

Primary Effect - Illusion

This is the illusion triggered by the Toxin. It works similarly to any normal Genjutsu, where the chakra, carried and inserted by the pheromone-based toxin, is absorbed by the Taste and Smell receptors of the target and carried on to the brain, where they will disturb the chakra system and create an illusion, following the rules of Genjutsu. These do not necessarily pertain to Taste-based illusions, they can be as diverse as normal Genjutsu in terms of effects.

Secondary Effect - Emotion

This is essentially the difference between Ganmi Genjutsu and normal Genjutsu, as the pheromones , unlike other Genjutsu, can infuse the target with different Emotions, varying in degree, that will condition the target when perceiving the Illusion.

After-Taste

This is the remnant of the Ganmi Genjutsu after it is countered. For twice as long as the Ganmi Genjutsu was in place, the target will still experience the fundamental flavor that triggered the technique. This will mean that the target will taste that (bitter, sweet, etc) despite being out of the illusion which in turn will prevent him from tasting any other Ganmi Genjutsu within that time frame.

If you have no further questions, let us begin with the first technique of our clan arts -Harvest.

Keeping her composure despite the divine smell of freshly cooked pork that suddenly infiltrated her nostrils, Kate simply nodded awkwardly.

Alice heard the affirming tone of her student, much to her personal delight. She would weave a single hand seal, suddenly a wondrous and lush spicy sensation ravished the existence of Kate. It felt as though dipping thy feet into an ocean of pepper, the honest but truly fiery nature of the spice. The grass that surrounded us shifted, becoming far more appealing to the eyes of the beholder, a swirling candy coated vine grew from behind Kate, so tasty looking. The candy grass, the traditional red and white striped desert wrapped around Kate’s curvaceous body like an anaconda as it squeezed the life of Kate out yet it felt so good, the touch of happiness rush through her body.

You can’t help but feel giggly on the inside, the candy coated grass was a abnormal bliss to your existence, but then the candy began to melt. Slowly like a colorful pool of lava, it burned into the skin, as steam began to radiate like a steamer. It pressed hard against the skin , as you felt completely hopeless, leaving you and the mercy of the the candy trap. You feared it, you wanted to run but your own body belonged to the the candy, you are now binded to its existence for all eternity.

Alice would then cancel her genjutsu, releasing Kate from the binds of the candy. She opened her eyes and began to question her student.

"That is Harvest. It’s the first of the Ganmi Clan’s basic Genjutsu which allows you a large manipulation range beyond that of False Surrounding. It allows you to create anything pertaining to the environment, allowing you to manipulate the existing one or in fact create your own. You may also create or alter inanimate objects or beings within the realms of this technique. So with that in mind, I’d like you to create your own Genjutsu and show me how you may do it on me, at which at your rank you are able to use it up to C rank with the use of 4 hand seals but if I recall from your profile, you're proficient in using Genjutsu so, you only need 3 instead.

Now show what you can do, and don’t use the secondary emotions I used. Hope you paid attention to what I was doing ;)

Alice said as she waited.

Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Mid

Description: Harvest is one of the basic applications of the Ganmi Genjutsu. It is versatile in terms of effects and chakra cost in order to cover a wide range of applications, as well as accompany the user in terms of hierarchy within the clan, with lower clansmen having access to lesser ranks. Here, the user will use the Primary Taste of the Illusion to change how the opponents perceives the world around them with the 5 basic senses, similar to False Surroundings. It does not change how the targets see people, animals, or even themselves, only creates or alters terrains, and inanimate objects or beings. The Secondary Taste allows the user to alter the way the opponents feel their surroundings, or how the surroundings make the opponents feel, based on the 5 basic Ganmi Emotions, as stated in clan's description. They fall under one of 5 category:
• Anger: The changes done to the terrain will be perceived negatively. This is usually meant to create a decoy of focus onto the surroundings, rather than entities within the battlefield. The target will chase after the terrain or target the terrain or a specific inanimate object. Ex: Create a red curtain behind the opponent, which will prompt him to direct his attacks at the curtain. A wall created with this will be a target to destroy, not to avoid.
• Disgust: This is meant to guide the target away from the terrain creations, and guide them into a specific place or just make them lose focus on their surroundings or specific directions. The target will be disgusted by the terrain constructions and move away from it. Ex: Create a wall of mucus that will prompt the target to move away from it, or go around it, not targeting it but rather avoiding it.
• Fear: This is meant to paralyze or make a person suspect of the terrain changed. The object of the illusion will cause great fear upon the target. Ex: Create a black wall that will seem too big, too imposing, too insurmountable for the opponent to destroy or evade, or do anything but stare at it.
• Happiness: This is meant to calm and attract the target to the terrain feature. This could attrack someone into it, or guide them in this way. Ex: Create a yellow pillar which the target will focus on and travel to, rather than avoiding or wanting to destroy.
• Sadness: This is meant to remove the will of the opponent into doing anything. The terrain will elicit more extreme action of either defend from it or attack it. Ex: Create a blue wall that saddens the opponent, making him sad and exhausted and prompt him to do something gratifying, either destroy it or hide from it.

A person targeted by this technique can still perceive damage from the surroundings, being constricted or even cut, but only as external damage. Given the different method of casting, and the additional properties, a clansmen, especially newly started, does not require Genjutsu in order to use this technique though Genjutsu is required to use it to it's fullest potential. Without Genjutsu knowledge, the user will be able to attach an emotion to an aspect of the terrain, without actually creating a complex Primary Taste illusion, which requires Genjutsu mastery. Non-Genjutsu usages make, for example, trees appear darker or lighter, depending on the tone of the emotion, but can't be considered anything but premature Genjutsu. The rank of the user and the opponent play crucial point. Rather than wanting to move away or towards something, one can feel just an hesitation or a unforcefull will to go that can be ignored, if the difference is too big and the opponent too strong.

The user is required to describe a spread of toxins through the air 1 turn before he/she is able to perform this technique, or have had an active Saliva technique in the previous turn within 10 meters range of the target(s).
Taester require 4 handseals in order to cast this technique. They can only use it up to C rank. Biiter require the same number of handseals but can use up to B rank. Savor require 3 handseals and can use it up to A rank. Paladar require 2 handseals and can use it up to S rank. A Flavoron Paladar and the Candymaker require only 1 handseal.
Having Genjutsu as the Primary Specialty allows the user to shave 1 handseal from the total required.
All the inherent restrictions of the Clan apply to this technique.

Technique says I'm supposed to have released toxins 1 turn before, but Kate has been listening to you the entire time so let's just pretend earlier at some point you picked up the the smell of fresh apples but paid no mind to it. I'll work from after you released Kate from your Genjutsu.

Kate who was still on a little edge from the illusion had just been in performs the three needed hand signs and her teacher's mouth would instantly be bombarded by the juicy sweetness of a green apple with just a small but noticeable hint of sour that worked in perfect unison with the sweet. The sky was gradually filled with thick clouds that covered the sun and surely enough it started to rain. The rain makes the grass around Kate and Alice grow slowly, noticeably unnoticed. Kate suddenly falls to her knees sobbing.

"I ca- I- I can't do it!"
"I can't do it!!"
"I CAN'T DO IT!"

Kate's frantic yelling and crying could be heard over the sound of the rain. The thin long blades of grass wrapped around Alice's legs digging deep into her skin like thin wires, cutting. The rain didn't stop, in fact it started raining harder, water began to accumulate rising quickly as we were now in a pit that was filling with water. The first wave of Fear hit Alice like a wrecking ball as she probably pondered why she was scared. Was it the fact that they were about to drown or was it something deeper? Was she scared she had failed her student? Kate was completely submerged by the water now but her cries could still be heard through the rain.

"I ca- I- I can't do it!"
"I can't do it!!"
"I CAN'T DO IT!"

Over and over it played as the water rose above Alice's head and she began to hold her breath. She tried to swim upwards but the thin blades of grass just kept getting tighter around her legs painfully the more she struggled. Wave after wave of fears kept hitting her, sparking new fears to pop up each and every second. Maybe something from her past, maybe something she had always been scared of, every single thought she had was that of intense fear. Her mind being flooded with that one emotion, Flooded, she couldn't hold her breath anymore, surely she was going to drown, surely she was going to die. Alice could feel as her windpipe "locked", an involuntary action taken by the body to prevent the water from entering her lungs, her nostrils burning, the instinct not to breath underwater is so strong that it overcomes the agony of running out of air, no matter how desperate the she was at this point she doesn't inhale, all until she was on the verge of losing consciousness. The lack of oxygen to her brain causing a sensation of darkness closing in from all sides. She tries yelling for help under the water but surely no one would hear, the pain of her drowning is mixed with an odd incredulity that it's actually happening.“So this is drowning, so this is how my life finally ends.” thoughts that might've been going through her mind at that moment.

She couldn't move... .... ... ....she couldn't help her student... ... ... .... ... she had failed.

"I can."

Just like that the Kate breaks the illusion and stands up from the ground. Kate had been playing along with her illusion from the moment she fell to her knees. In reality she had just been yelling "I can't"every now and then for effect.

"So how was that?", she said smiling at Alice

Yes yes, but this is training. Relax my young student, also be careful how you word your creations, as parts such as “ She tried to swim upwards but the thin blades of grass just kept getting tighter around her legs painfully the more she struggled. “ as your are forcing me to react in a way. Surely through the emotion, I’d be less hesitant of wanting to go near it but the target still has control over themselves so try not to god mod(taking control of the enemies character) like that when using the techniques, though you did nicely on how I’d “feel” about it.

It was a rather bitter hell, Alice might say so herself. This new recruit was really a drama queen, but it did play perfectly into her creation. The Candy Maker clapped a few times, acknowledging the success of her student’s first go at the clan’s signature technique. However, the moment she stops clapping another feeling of dread manifested within the core of the Sil, it’s as though the weight of world was pressing onto her body, an inner turmoil flushed her mind into a state of panic. What was it that she feared the most? The immense overflow of Candy Maker’s presences? Who truly knows, but Alice knew, she moved towards Kate grabbed her by the chin, whispering a cold voice into her ear.

Subpar to my liking.

She said, this stunned the Sil into submission. The very existence of the clan head made her quiver in fear. She would then break the illusion, but what occured moments earlier was not real, the real Alice was away from Kate sitting on a piece of rock watching her clan mate shiver. She smiled and tried to ease her off.

Haha, relax my lovely little Sil. That was the next technique we will cover, Taste Illusionary Arts: Sugary Pastry ⋓ Banquet. This technique changes how the opponents perceive others, based on the 5 basic senses, similar to Myriad of Mockingbirds. It does not change how the targets sees the terrain or themselves, only creates or alters people or animals, and any techniques other people or the illusionary people use. The Secondary Taste allows the user to alter the way the opponents feel about others or thrown techniques, or how they make the opponents feel, based on the 5 basic Ganmi Emotion. Go on try it!

Mother Technique as a reference
( Genjutsu: Ba-doko-ru Ninnin ) Illusion Technique: Myriad of Mockingbirds
Rank: B
Type: Supplmentary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20 (-5 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a very discrete genjutsu, both in it's casting and it's effect. To cast, the user simply needs to do an hand gesture, in the direction of the target. It doesn't change anything about surroundings with the exception of people, and the immediate terrain they're placed. In essence, it allows the user to change how someone perceives someone else, and even create illusionary copies of people the user knows. The illusion is complimented with slight changes to the terrain, like bending foliage, opening doors, etc, but only if manipulated by the illusionary people. It can also remove people from the target's perspective, or remove certain characteristics of someone within sensory range of the target. While inside the genjutsu, the target is free to move and speak, which the user is able to respond through any of the illusionary creations, or him/herself, case the user chooses not to disappear.
It masks slight ambient alteration by "hidden" people, such as footsteps and speech, but not techniques. Likewise, the illusionary people can't perform techniques, only speak and interact through body motions.
*Lasts 4 turns max*
*While using it, the user cannot use any additional Genjutsu on the target and is limited to 2 additional techniques per turn*

"Go on try it!"

Kate simply gives a thumbs up, turns around and runs up up to long range from her teacher. She then turns back towards her teacher once more and yells.

"Are you ready!?"

"Okay, here I come!"

She bends down and gets into the classic ready position showing she was about to begin running towards Alice. Alice would feel extremely calm, so calm in fact that it start to become very uneasy, like there was cold blade on her throat. Kate would then proceed to lift her back end into the air and for a split second look at Alice with an extremely sinister smile that would send shivers through any man. Instantly Kate would vanish into thin air and before Alice can react she would re appear right in front of her, with a blade aimed straight at her windpipe. Waves of fear and confusion swept through Alice as it seemed like Kate was oozing only murderous intent.

"Fear is such a beautiful thing, don't you agree?" she whispers

Kate then breaks the Illusion thus revealing her real self sitting comfortably on a chair made of stone. Everything Alice had seen and felt was simply the doing of the earlier technique which was initiated when Kate gave the thumbs up.

OOC: Not sure why you posted that technique in particular lmao. It was just to show you as a reference lol. You learnt the below technique

Hehe, don’t get too cocky my young sil. You still have quite a bit to learn before you can make me feel such “fear”.

Alice would retort, as the illusion ends the Candy Maker would stretch a bit having been standing around for what seems like hours had gone by. They were finally down towards the last technique of the clan’s unique genjutsu set. Fueling a small amount of water chakra into her palms, she would splash it onto her face as a minor wake up call. Shaking the drowsiness off Alice would proceed to the final technique.

Good, now then we will move onto the last and final clan genjutsu before we move into the next sub division of the clan arts. The last and final technique being Ganmi Genjutsu: Kyoushokora ⋓ Koumenzaifu. With this illusion, you will alter how the target will perceive themselves, mainly speaking towards the body. You can subject them to some very...unique mental torment when you pick the right illusion to create, much like how I will do now.

Alice trailed off after making a single hand seal, her toxin spreading into the air and instantly from the body of Kate singular barnacle would grow from within her skin. The promiscuous little demon would slowly seep it’s tendrils underneath the skin, crawling violently throughout the doomed skin - the invader digging deeper and deeper as the tendrils attained as mass control of the mortals arm. They didn't stop there for another barnacle on the other arm within the same time crawled through the arms, causing them to protrude from the mouth , choking Kate into submission. The poor girl, gagged and violated all at once, such heart wrenching flavor of the tendrils made it for worst for she would pass out from the unsettling feeling.

Not longer after, Alice would break the illusions grip on her psyche - returning to normal but a face of utter shock appeared on Kate’s face. Alice proceeded to as her the main questions at the moment, wondering if the Sil was capable of understanding what was going on.

Tell me, what emotion do you think I used there. Once you think you have it right, attempt the replicate the illusion on me and I’ll tell you afterwards
( Ganmi Genjutsu: Kyoushokora ⋓ Koumenzaifu ) Taste Illusionary Arts: Chocolate Pleasure ⋓ Indulgence
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Points: 10-40
Damage Points: 20-80
Description: Indulgence is one of the basic applications of the Ganmi Genjutsu. It is versatile in terms of effects and chakra cost in order to cover a wide range of applications, as well as accompany the user in terms of hierarchy within the clan, with lower clansmen having access to lesser ranks. Here, the user will use the Primary Taste of the Illusion to change how the opponents perceive themselves, based on the 5 basic senses, similar to The Voodoo of the Headless Chicken. They fall under one of 5 category:
• Anger: The changes done to himself will be perceived negatively. This is usually meant to create a decoy of focus that change or body part, and make the target want to destroy it. Ex: Create a reptile skin on someone's hands which will make them want to destroy it, and, with it, the hand itself.
• Disgust: This is meant to guide the target away from the change. The user will not want to use the body part or focus on it. Ex: Create blisters on someone's hand, preventing them from wanting to use the to make handseals or hand gestures.
• Fear: This is meant to paralyze or make a person suspect of the changed body part. The object of the illusion will cause great fear upon the target. Ex: Turn their feet into demons that will scare the target into paralysis.
• Happiness: This is meant to calm and attract the target to the terrain feature. This could attract someone into it, or guide them in this way. Ex: Make someone's hands into a strawberry cheesecake, so yummy, making them want to eat their hands.
• Sadness: This is meant to remove the will of the opponent into doing anything. The body part will elicit more extreme of either defend from it or attack it. Ex: The user's eyes are blind, what's the point of even seeing or doing anything?

It does not change how the targets see other people, animals, or even the terrain only creates or alters body parts, and techniques used by the target. The Secondary Taste allows the user to alter the way the opponents feel about themselves and their techniques, or how certain parts or his techniques make them feel, based on the 5 basic Ganmi Emotions, as stated in clan's description. A person targeted by this technique can still perceive damage, being constricted or even cut, by altering the body directly or by using the opponent's techniques against him, within the illusion. Given the different method of casting, and the additional properties, a clansmen, especially newly started, does not require Genjutsu in order to use this technique though Genjutsu is required to use it to it's fullest potential. Without Genjutsu knowledge, the user will be able to attach an emotion to an aspect of the target, without actually creating a complex Primary Taste illusion, which requires Genjutsu mastery. Non-Genjutsu usages make, for example, the opponent appear darker or lighter, depending on the tone of the emotion, but can't be considered anything but premature Genjutsu.

Kate stood still for a few minutes as if she were pondering about the universe, whilst simultaneously spreading her toxins through the air.

"hmm alright I think I understand my task" Kate said as she performed 4 handseals.

Not long after a small opening would appear Alice's left arm and then another and another until her skin was completely covered by clusters of small holes and bumps (imagine those trypophobia pics ;-; ). This alone was enough to cause intense anxiety but Kate wasn't done, the holes started oozing yellow as if they began to become infected, starting with her hands and then her arms. Alice was forced to watch as her limbs became infected and maggot started to emerge from the open sores, a truly unsavoury sight. The infection spread to her legs and she could feel everything, the forming holes, the oozing pus, the maggots, all so disgusting her mind would refuse to use any of the infected parts thus causing her limbs to be rendered useless. Kate watched for a while before breaking the illusion.

"It took a while but I think I was able to figure it out, you used disgust."

Alice simply clapped her hands in blissful delight as her student delivered the proper answer. Ignoring the illusion to some extent having been exposed to the emotion for more times than one can image, she sat on a stone. Watching Kate - pointed in four directions yet again we go back to the most basic of practices, however the points where differing.

Splendid, now the final part of this before your promotion - is to increase your range once more.As of now, you are a Taester but in order to become a Biiter, you need to break the mold once again and increase thy sensory range once again, this time to 300 meters. So to the secondary points of South West, South East, North West and North West to tell me what you can sense in the same containers. Do your best and if you pass, you will be promoted and thus we will begin the next part of training.

Quietly Kate turned turned to the North Eastern container and began to concentrate concentrate chakra into her mouth, This time it came more naturally to her and she was easily able to pass her range limit although she couldn't quite get to the 300 mark. Closing her eyes she focused more chakra into her mouth and not long after, her mouth was bombarded with a strong flavour. The taste activating her salivary glands instantly causing a sea of saliva to form within her mouth. She knew this taste all too well, the unique property of activating one's salivary glands on contact, Salty, bitter, and sweet things do not cause this experience no this was Sour, and the taste of citrus acid confirmed what was in the container.

"The first container has Lemons inside it.", she said calmly whilst turning to the north western container.

Kate searched for a while until she tasted a different flavor. This time it was different but still easily recognizable, the taste of many little rolls of what seemed to be raw tuna, rice, and seaweed, there was no doubt about tasting the seaweed and bittersweet rice that overpowered the tuna this was definitely Sushi. Kate turned to Alice and spoke.

"The second container has sushi in it."

She then turned South East and began concentrating her chakra once more like she did previously , this time reaching the distance came more easily and it didn't take her that long to locate the container as well. A fresh scent filled her taste buds, lightly sweet, a little aquatic and a little lemony, sort of like the peony but without any rosiness. This was similar to another one which she picked up as she entered Alice's garden.

"The third contains water lilies." she said turning to the last container.

This one was simple because it was basically the same as the first time except this time amidst the putrid odour was the light smell of female perfume. Kate was more composed this time and simply turned to her teacher.

"Woman, in her late 20's, there's a ring on her right index finger. Okay where exactly are these dead people coming from?"

Let’s not sweat those minor details…

Alice said, eyes averting due to the guilt...she will need to punish Ryo-kun later. Regardless, the dead was done and as such she claps her hand together moving away from Kate. She closed her eyes and looked towards the opposite direction, fueling her chakra into her mouth as she weaved a single hand seal. After weaving the hand seal, she would unleash from her mouth a thin, pressured beam of water from her mouth turning her head to aim at the ground as it cuts the stone open. Once she finalized her technique, she turned towards Kate who she hopes was paying attention.

Now then, that was representation of what you will be learning next. The Black Tongue Arts, the second branch of ninjutsu within the clan. What you just saw was the basic technique known as Black Liquorish, so what I want you to do is practice for a bit channeling your chakra into your saliva. Get a feel for it and try to release a small globe of it. Modulate your saliva too and increase the PH Balance to melt to make it far more lethal.
