(this is most likely fanfiction so i apologize if this sounds like fanfiction... but if you think about it , it'll most probably make sense , i promise 
)
i'll talk about the power standpoint as to why they were created and maybe about the void century etc etc.
so , i'll start by saying that the one piece is something that cannot be destroyed.
so , we have these powers , the wg , the gorosei , the 3 admirals , the 3 ancient weapons , the 7 shichibukais and the revolutionary army , right? right... but there's 1 left that is THE PIRATE KING. which is the key of the theory , but tbh , the key of the theory is the void century.
so ... the void century... what we know about it: we know that was a clan of families against the evil guys that were most probably the world government the tenryuubitos were in there i believe bc of some weird reason aparently and there were more people in there and the d's were in there as well , the guys that created the poneglyphs were in there as well somehow , the one piece connect to that point in the story... the void century were erased by the world government does creating the redline or that huge mountain in the sea ahahahha (yeah i know it doesnt make any sense , i cant explain this xD as to why the mountain was created xD), but somehow , someway the void century still had people alive thus them creating the poneglyph , which cannot be destroyed by the world government ... thus making it me believe that the ones that created the one piece were the ones that created the poneglyphs or something along those lines...
so , now up to the meat of the theory , Gol D. Roger FOUND the one piece , but he was sick , and he couldn't continue with his project , project that we dont know anything about it... , the pirate king , gol d. roger wasn't afraid of the grand line , but why would be afraid of the grand line in the first place if the new world is the thing to be afraid of in the first place? which makes me wonder... they created the mountain to separate the new world to the grand line , thus making the new world the grand line , maybe ? which maybe made the civilians look at the wg as the good guys...
so.... since gol d. roger was sick , maybe he created 4 guardians , that guarded the one piece , and with those 4 guardians he had the ancient weapons , the 3 , uranus , pluton and poseidon , which made them be the strongest of the sea , correct? 4 + 3 = 7 + 1 = 8 , which made the gorosei create a new organization which is the wg , which in it , it had 5 guys , the gorosei , which will fight the 4 guardians with and the pirate king which will they would create 3 admirals as well which will they fight the ancient weapons , that there were 3 , and to be certain that they had the victory they would gather 7 people to garantuee them the victory , thus making the 7 shichibukai and somehow someway we have the 7 shichibukais and somehow... the revolutionary army is in between this stuff which is... maybe to create some balance to not have some war? because any of these things can destroy the world? thus maybe because the one piece is the reason for all the war , maybe the one piece is something to create balance in the world of the one piece? something that CANNOT BE TOUCHED?
but hey watever , now i'm gonna tell you why gol d. roger made 2 trips on the red line and maybe he did that because of the bermuda triangle ?
I MEAN CM'ON , THINK ABOUT IT A BIT... when we were in the grand line arc we know almost everything about that but we know NOTHING about the bermuda triangle ? like why would he made 2 trips in the first place? maybe his former crew were erased by something or someone? thus when he found rayleigh he told him: lets throw the world upside down? like dude , wtf? how , why , when?
the 4 guardians are the 4 yonkos and the one that put balanced in between was the pirate king which will now make doflamingo , doflamingo was the one that was controlling all these monsters by giving them what they wanted from the underground , the family of momonosuke created the 4 red poneglyphs which leads you to raftel...
so 4 red poneglyphs = 4 yonkos , 4 poneglyphs that leads into 1 way does making him the pirate king... does creating 4 guardians , right?
