Biggest Nerfs in the Series?

Let's try and wittle it down to a top 5. I put forward Kakashi losing Sharingan, Oro losing his arms & Naruto/Sasuke only being allowed taijutsu vs Momoshiki,

When edo Madara is stronger than 5 kages. He get's even stronger when revived and stealing Sage mode to the point where with one rinnegan eye he can beat all 7 tailed beasts, 2 perfect jinchuriki, and Gaara at the same time in seconds. This is before he becomes the jubbi jinchuriki then proceeds to get his ass beat by 8 gates guy in a fight he forgets to use every single technique he has except the black orbs. Don't get me wrong 8 gates guy should be strong and maybe would have been a good match for edo Madara or one eyed non jinchuriki Madara but once Madara became the jubi jinchuriki considering how strong he was before he should have wiped the floor with guy.

5. Minato - during the war arc, Minato was virtually useless. Now to be fair, only Sage-Chakra could hurt the Juubi-Jin, but still, Minato was renowned for his tactical smarts as well as his S/T jutsu. Where was any of that when he was reanimated?

4. Sasuke - speaking of tactical smarts, Sasuke used to be my favorite character for fights because before he got MS he was on par with Shikimaru in terms of tactical abilities (and had more screen time to show it). However Sasuke's IQ must have dropped when his power level increased because from the Deidara fight ALL the way up to the Boruto movie have we been robbed of amazing hand to hand combat from Sasuke and his on-the-fly tactical mind.

3. Naruto (BM) - When BM was first a thing, Naruto was so fast that he could deflect (I think it was) 6 Bijuu Dama with noting but speed. Never have we seen speed feats from Naruto anywhere even close to that intro.

2. Kakashi loosing the Sharingan - lets face it, without a Sharingan (especially at this point) Kakashi is trash.

1. Madara - that statement is all inclusive, as he was nerfed almost instantaneously after bringing down the meteor. In fact he was nerfed so hard and was written into a corner so badly that he literally just sat in a corner while everyone fought.

Madara forgetting he had other abilities besides limbo.
Minato somehow being stupid during the war.
Hashirama not using Shinsuusenju during the war.
The other tailed beasts. They was made to look fodder even when they combined their power vs Naruto.

How was minato useless? He saved the SA from a BD, saved Naruto/Sasuke from juubito, collaborated with Naruto to save SA again from juubito quad BD, and he formulated a brilliant plan to rid Madara of all but one of his TSB.

Please, Kishi gave Minato two asspull power ups so he could look good. The 4th was in his prime against Obito yet he had to sacrifice his life to win. There's a reason he wasn't called a shinobi god like Hiruzen.

Well yea... That wasn't my point though. Kishi gave him that and still made Minato look bad, i don't think he would of done prime

Don't know about you all but Hamura's side of the family tree, the other dojutsu user, Byakugan, had one of the biggest nerf to the point to where the Hyuga's are fodder, back in Part I, Neji and his Byakugan was definetly in the Top 5, but Kishi nerfed the Hyuga's so hard that at the end of Naruto they were fodder, and one of the strongest Byakugan users died to a bunch of sticks.. Byakugan had soo much potential to be a really strong dojutsu,
now its more likely that, if you had to choose between sharingan/ byakugan or EMS/ Tenseigan, the sharingans will be the most favored choice probably

I hate that the Rinnegan didnt have any of the properties of the sharingan or vice versa.
Naruto didnt use his summons as much as I would have like, Sasuke, and Sakura as well.

No technique he has would be able to stop Gai apart from TSB, his physical strength is more than what RSM Naruto possessed and speed was above Sasuke's, Gai was too fast and too strong for ninjutsu to be used on him.

Fair enough. Honestly I have little memory of the war arc after a certain point - around when Minato showed up is when I started to loose interest and didn't pay much attention/retain information regarding that arc.
