I think the animators did a really good job !

I think Dragonball Z were the best animated anime :sdo:. Naruto first part and early seasons of Shippuden :sdo: were not bad too.

Indeed, and the scene where he self destructs, it's shows him all looking at the camera ready to die, the animation was good there, that was a powerful scene in dbz

Yeah.... but Dragon Ball Z had a bigger filler problem than Naruto. If you read the manga the changes they made, the rewritten scenes, and filler episodes get annoying fast

Vegeta is the best character of Toriyama, even though he hates him. That moment is awesome, I still remember the first time I saw that when I was little.

And in the end, it accomplished about as much as Chiaotzu on Nappa. The only self destruct that ever worked in DBZ was that Saibaman.

Ah, back when Toei actually had good & consistent animation. Not only that but actually put in some effort into making episodes.
